hey guys, Lets pretend that i failed a course last term and my mark was at 49%. Lets also assume that the prof was an anal marker (on the assignments and previous midterms) and i was wondering if i could convince him to bump me up to 50%. What phero or phero mix should i use? He is an okay type of guy, the type that teaches well and expects you to know well in return. Hard marker. note: I’m 19 years old, and i don’t know if i will OD on 2 drops of A314. ---

Well, I dont’ think u’ll OD from 2 drops of A314 at all.U have a pretty difficult situation here.You have some male teacher who is teaching the right way and has principles and u want to convince him that he needs to make an exeption in your case.I don’t knoew if thats possible to happen as pheromones are not magic potions but mood changers.Even so you can try using some heavy pheromones as to make a big impression on him and make him promise that he’ll raise the scores from 49 to 50 percents.I think that large amounts of A314 and [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) could pull it off but as I said above they’re not magic potions and you have to play your role verry well.Be nice, apologise to him, act like a victime with out saying it.Also it’s good to add some instant honesty as to make the conversation more deeper and to hear what really your teacher is thinking about it and planning to do.I hope this points help you and keep us updated, will you?😉 ---

Heavy EST may also make him want to help you, but TAC is the real deal for when you need to float a suggestion. I wouldnt suggest begging with A314 on. For me with A314, its more a matter of people doing things for me because they want to, not necessarily things ive suggested to them. I get spontaneous numbers from women, but if i ask a few times or ask for something beyond the conversational bounds, it sets up lock-down. He may think youre cool, but raising your grade may not be the first thing on his mind. ---

I’ve heard every dumb-ass excuse, been threatened and offered sexual and monetary favors. Just made me madder. [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) won’t make anybody with principles change a grade simply because you asked. Now I admit the scent of cops and a flirt from an attractive coed had me attempted but no dice mama. However–if you’re a good actor and likable–you might convince him to give you a second chance. Beg him to change your grade to an incomplete and plead temporary insanity, grandmother died, GF cheated on you, whatever. Request a special project or research paper to demonstrate your mastery of the subject and your willingness to learn and earn your marks. I’ve offered similar deals to students in your situation. Funny, all took the deal. Only one guy in 20 years actually completed the project and earned a grade. The rest were too lazy to follow through and their incomplete reverted back to a F after a semester. ---

I agree with the biscuit-man about A314 - go light or zero on it. [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) might make you seem more grown up, and create some possible rapport. Don’t use Instant Honesty on this situation unless you test it plenty first and have an honest or very honest sounding excuse for the original bad grade. You might tell him too much, and nix the deal. I often requested my copy back to ‘check which mistakes I made’ but in fact I was checking how the teacher graded my exam, and I made remarks on it. Sometimes I found that they made a mistake in grading, so that pushed me over. Other times i just took the same pen and…edited the paper so there is no more mistake. Never failed me ; ) ---

I have a completely different approach to this … rather than bargaining with the professor. The night before seeing the prof, I’d shower well and then put on a good shot of -none (maybe 10 or 20 mcg for me) with no social pheros at all. I’d spray the none where I can smell it while I sleep. Then, the next morning, I’d call on the prof unannounced (assuming he has AM office hours) with my “dimmed down” -none signature, well blended as I slept. And I would say something like this: _“Hello”_ (\* wait to make eye contact _) \* “I’m wondering whether you’ve ever considered changing a grade at a student’s request.”_ (\* of course he has ~considered~ it; if he says no, skip ahead to the goodbye sequence \*) _“I don’t want to give you excuses, or plead some exceptional circumstance. I ~am~ curious to know what you’d expect of me to change my grade from X to Y.”_ Then … just shut up and nod your head; force yourself to keep breathing and if he just shuts you out or refuses you, then do the goodbye sequence: say _“Thanks”_ and then make some unrelated observation _“It looks like the football team might win today, doesn’t it?”_ and turn and walk away. He’ll know how to contact you if he reconsiders. Teachers like to teach, even if they don’t like preparing and attending and leading class sometimes. And teachers have a difficult time letting a mystery walk away. So, afford the teacher the opportunity to seize a teachable moment, and also do not destroy the only currency you have … mystery … by blabbering some kind of tale of woe, which just invites disrespect. The mindset for this interaction is man to man. Your phero usage here is not to create an “edge” of superiority, but to establish yourself as an existential equal. Any hint of “son coming to father” or “athlete coming to coach” or “student coming to teacher” puts this all wrong. **Inquire, do not supplicate.** You’re a guy … an adult … with a question for another guy … an adult … you happen to interact with. ---

Interesting thoughts. I never cared much what my profs thought of me. I was there to rip the knowledge out of the steaming grey matter in their craniums. They usually gave me decent grades, but it wasn’t the grades that helped me in later life.
