I have recently noticed that 6% strengths just aren’t doing it anymore, since the Fall season is coming and it’s chilling up. I haven’t really found a good cologne that fits my taste, and since I’m pleased with [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/), I thought I’d stick with it for a while.

Have anyone tried 20% cologne strength (neroli preferably)?
How much difference does it make?
I want to know the difference in Diffusion, Longevity, and Scent.
What else can you tell me about it?

I haven’t gotten anything with the cologne strength Neroli but I have gotten Akuto scented [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) that is fantastic. The scent is strong but the diffusion, sillage and longevity are incredible. They fairly recently changed the neroli and this neroli even at 6% does a very nice job. You might have a very nice citrus cologne if you use the cologne strength option. I am not sure if it is the strength or the Akuto, but I’ve noticed that I don’t need as many sprays to get the same effect as with the 6% stuff.

a thing to remember too (correct me if i’m wrong) is that the scent of the perfume added really doesn’t effect the amount of the pheromone mix, it’ll just smell stronger in the perfume part, wont make it stronger or anything… again i could be a bit wrong but.. that’s what makes sense with me… not sure if the added scent would change the effect of the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/) in the mix is what i mean 😛

Correct! You win a gold star, or at least a smiley. 🙂 Same amount of pheros just more stink to them.

If the 20% cologne is much strong, wouldn’t using it as a cover over the mones make the mones more effective? I heard users in this forum mention about how mones lifts off the skin through (cologne)?? So with a strong cover that has great diffusion, sillage, and longevity, wouldn’t this make the mones travel more efficiently ?

I have no idea… but i’d like to hear an official answer to that… someone who knows for sure… pretty interesting… my thinking is the mones already have their own scent… not sure why a heavier smell would bring out the mones more, but i’d like to know 🙂

Think this post might have your answers…maybe. [Read well.](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/optimal-diffusion-of-pheros/26730/6)

ah… so what i’m gathering now is that having more of the neroli scent could actually… possibly … maybe spread the mones more… or diffuse it better… I wish I knew for sure, that’d be nice 😛

I’m feelin a bit stupid even after some searching, but here I go:
Would a 20% Akuto have more “range” then 6% Akuto?
Let’s pretend it have an “aura”-diffuse/effect, would the “aura” be larger with the 20%?
Larger range, as in, people farther away may get “hit” by the pheromones while walking pass them?

I Doubt that the Strength of the Scent is the Same as it’s Range or Aura… Some Very Strong Scents have a Rather Short Range… Also just Because they Smell the Scent Doesn’t mean that the Mones have Traveled that Far… The Mones may Travel Further or Shorter then the Actual Scent of the Carrier…
I Have this Feeling that Tish has a Much Better Answer…

The scent acts as both a carrier/cover. However just as more mones doesn’t always equal more effect/range neither does more cover scent. As was stated the molecules have a certain weight and will only reach so far, adding more won’t increase the range. Two quarterbacks won’t throw a single football twice as far as one, they’ll just throw more balls. The RATE of diffusion has more to do with surface temperature of the body, area covered by mones and area exposed to the air, than anything else.

If you like neroli I would agree as suggested already in finding a good citrusy/fresh cologne scent that’s compatible. Sean Johns “Unforgivable”, Abercrombie “Fierce” and Dolce and Gabanna’s “Light Blue” are all good ones.

2 quick questions please:

So if the mones bind to the scent, wouldnt they become heavier and end up with a shorter range?

If mones require scent carriers… but don’t the mones already have a smell which is why they need a cover?
