😕 Hello to everyone. First off I just woild like to say that there are alot of good people on this site who give great feedback, info and thoughs. I am new to all this so I dont know much of anything. I have been reading for the past couple days and have decided to join as a member but this all seems like rocket science so bare with me. I guess I am lookin for an Ice breaker for striking up conversion with women. I have no problem talking to them just I never know what to say unless they speak to me. Any advice would be appreciated strongly… ---

Any advice would be appreciated strongly… I would hate to say it but it sounds to me like you are way to concerned with how attractive the girl you are talking to is and its just messing up the flow of things. Don’t focus so much on her beauty but focus on her as a person you would like to get to know. Ask her about things you really want to know..ie if shes single if she is currently dating around and if you cant find anything to say bring up something situational. Tell her a story about the homeless guy that you saw on a train that threw a drumstick at you and started screaming obscenities. The key to conversation is to throw something out there and then to listen. Pick key things out that that person has talked about and reply to them. Say for example your talking to me about Nascar and I happen to mention that I hate so and so but I love this guy. If you know anything about Nascar and you like so and so but hate the other guy and you know a lot about this guy you can take the conversation from there. I just always go with something current/topical and try to put a funny spin on it. ---

Get Instant Openness or CTTM.they are [social pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/social-pheromones/) and make people exposed chatty. If you want to know what to say to a girl as a ice breaker, well that depends on the girl and what the situation is at the time. Bars are a little tough because they are like walking into a arena, everyone is competeing for attention. I suggest you practice out of the arena first on people your not totally interested in this way you can build confidence. I dont mean hit on them just start a conversation. After a while it will come more natural to you and make it easier when you see a person your interested in. You need to observe the person a little and take notice of what they are doing and what they seem to like. This will help you with an openning line. Examples: This guy on my route walks alot with his dog. I see him all the time. Last time he came down to the box instead of the standard “Hi how are you today”. (which is like automatic because people ask and anwser that without ever engaging there brains) I said, "Hi, Hey I saw your dog while you were walking the other day and she’s beautiful, what kind of dog is it? . Always throw a question in after the statement so you get more then the Thank you. He smiled and the coversation just bloomed from there. Just normal conversation I am not interested in him or anything but I am sure I could stear it that way if I was. Last time I was in a bar, I started a convo with a guy about his drink. Wow that smells strong, whats in it? With a bunch of girls about there shoes. Great shoes, where did you get them? About the crappy table snacks. These snacks are disgusting, dont you wish they would put out something less stale? See statement and question. This draws them in. Always do it with a smile to. Some people will talk and some wont. Dont let this bother you. Just get used to openning the convo. Like I said, in the arena (bars) its a little tougher. Everyone is pretty much doing the same thing. But if you pay attention you will see an openning and the Instant Openness or CTTM will help you to take the openning. After a while it will seem more natural. Tisha
