> thanks,my dear.
> im beginning to feel naked without pheromones on, lol. isnt that weird? what i liked about LS was the gel packs. i have to travel with them, and it makes it so freakin convenient. when they do that here, i will be the first to order. i just cant carry my bottles with me,lol.

That’s why I got my little 3ml spray bottles. About as small as a mascara case (to put in terms I’m sure you can relate to). I can mix up a one day supply of mones and be out by the end of the day. The spray dosage isn’t the same, but if you know what you’re putting in you can tell how much you’ve sprayed by how much is left.

As to the crash, I don’t know if it deserves it’s own thread, but I’ll tell you what happened. I was going up I-5, just south of Williams (northern california, north of Sacramento), on my way to Eureka. I was in a line of cars passing a truck puling a boat in the right hand lane (there were only two lanes).

As soon as I was past, I moved to the left lane to pass everyone ahead of me. Well, just as I started moving the car on my left decides to do the nolook-lane change-two step double time. This forced me off into the breakdown lane.

Everything would have been fine had there not been an abandoned car ahead of me. So I kept going further, off into the dirt where I ditched it. The bike hit a metal post, shattering the new (rare!) fairing I had put on that morning along with the headlight and bending the handlebars, foot peg and front fender and denting the gas tank.

I ended up tangled in the barbed wire that the fence post was holding up.

I got an actual black (no kidding) bruise on my ass, a sore shoulder joint and foot and some scratches, but that’s it.

The very pleasant arse who ran me off the road, stopped a tenth of the mile down the road, got out to see that I was moving around and then sped off. A very nice couple stopped to help me out, they were the ones that were towing the boat that everybody was passing.

I credit my survival to my insistance on wearing a full face helmet along with a full armor jacket. And luck. Lots of luck. Although lots of bad luck got me in that pickle in the first place.

Anyway, I’m almost completely healed and so is my bike and we ride on.

i dont see where bad luck was involved at all. i’ve lost many-a-friend to idiots on the road that think “im bigger than you,you have to move over”. i had a lady run me and my kids off the road because 3 lanes were becomming 2 and she went up out of her way to speed up, pull along side, and force me out of her way. me doing 10 miles over the speed limit wasnt fast enough i guess. so your one lucky dude, nomatter what. glad to have you still with us,😃 thanks for sharing that..never hurts to remind others **motorcycles are everywhere.**

Well, if the abandoned car hadn’t been there it’d have been no biggie, I’d have just gone into the break down lane and been fine. Also, there was a one foot deep trench in the soft dirt that I hit that caused me to ditch the bike, if that hadn’t been there I’d would have been able to ride it out. On the other hand, about thirty feet from where I came to a stop, an eye blink at the speed I was going, was a culvert and if I had hit that my bike would have gotten seriously damaged and me along with it. OK, so maybe I’m back to where I started with all the luck, maybe you’re right.

I’m glad to hear you’re alright! I drive on I-95 every day to school, and the stretch I drive on is one of the worst for safety in the nation. I stay well away from the idiots who can’t seem to find any limit for their impatience, but if I was on a motorcycle, I’m sure I’d be dead by now after a few close calls.

Glad you were wearing good coverage. My uncle recently lost an eye and his sense of smell and taste to a head injury because of a hit and run while he was on a motorcycle. He had no helmet on. My aunt, who was on the bike with him, was wearing a helmet, and only got scraped and bruised.

WEAR HELMETS AND LEATHERS!

Glad you’re ok.

I watched as one of my best friends wreck his bike about 3 years back. He lost control and slammed into a parked truck. He had a helmet, but no armor. His body slammed into the truck and (without going into detail) he suffered internal damage.

He wasn’t as lucky as you.

I was saving up for a GSXR 750 at the time, but I don’t think I could ride after having seen that. Including him, I’ve known 4 ppl to wreck their bikes (all but 1 passed away). Most were casual acquaintances, but this hit waaay to close to home for me.

What kind of bike do you have btw?

It’s a 1980 Suzuki GS1100ET. When the bike came out it was the fastest around. It’s got some aftermarket goodies on it so even though it’s 26 years old and heavy it has well over a hundred horsepower and can still beat a lot of bikes out there. Though right now it looks so sad, all cracked up and painted all different colors. ☹ ☹

Reminds me of my youth. Used to ride a Trimph “T-120” (named that because it would do 120 mph “out of the box”)

Being older now, I don’t bounce as well so I’ve given up donercycles.
