I’ve found that dressing congruent to the phero’s vibe, does help, phenomenally. 🙂
It still works, just not as well.

I’m sure “dressing the part” would help a lot in the vibes you put off, but I was actually wondering if wearing a certain [pheromone](https://a314.com/) might affect the styles of clothing you _choose_ to buy. (Or put on) Probably not very much, now that I think about it. I mean, we put on clothing to suit our moods every day anyway.

Merde.

Nevermind. Total plan breakdown. Dammit.

Luckily, bacon and rice is being made to cheer me up.
By me.
I’m cheering myself up.
With bacon.
And rice.
That I’m making.

…whatever.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they affected what you choose buy, if only slightly, when picking out clothes.

Dressing congruently opposite of the vibes you put out, via [pheromones](https://a314.com/), opposed to 'dressing the part, we seem to have been operating on two different premises, bound to be some confusion when that occurs 😃🙄.

That makes sense.😃
I’m sure if you wore like leather pants and IS/b you might get some “Wait… aren’t you…?” reactions.
Actually, confusing people in that way might be kind of fun.😛

…first spray

Note to self:
Do not use attention-grabbing pheromones when planning on covertly sneaking into several movie theaters.

I was paranoid all freakin’ day. Maybe that was just me though.

This was probably not a good first trial since I was on edge about attention to begin with, so my judgment can’t be trusted.
If it matters, I used one spray of IS/a to the back of my head.
Ignore this first one though. It was stupid.

…However… I did have a few guys stare. And this one really creepy security lady who WOULD NOT TAKE HER SCARY-ASS EYES OFF OF ME.
Then again, I was wearing a skin-tight miniskirt and combat boots. Might be kinda eye-catching.
This is hard. People on the street look at me already, so how am I supposed to tell??

Ugh. More sprays tomorrow.

**EDIT** :
Ok, ok, I’ll do this the right way, but like I said before, I was kind of on paranoid about getting caught when I was walking around so I’m taking everything I observed with a grain of salt.

First try: 1 spray of [Instant Sexiness](https://phera.com/product/instant-sexiness/) A to back of hair

Environment: Movie theater

Self Effects: Got a little zing of excitement after I sprayed it on, but that might have just been excitement at trying it for the first time. I might have gotten a little chattier. Not sure. The neroli (?) scent was nice, a bit like men’s cologne. Might want to add in something a little more feminine next time, like vanilla or something.

Effects on others: Honestly, I got a few looks, but nothing to really say, “It’s working, it’s working!” about. Then again, I did only use one spritz. My grumpy cousin seemed unaffected, and my mom is just generally excited about everything. She said it smelled nice though.

Tomorrow- serious science will happen!

BACON?!?!?

WHAT THE EFF???

**Product:** IS/a- 1 spray to back of hair, one spray to back of neck rubbed with both wrists.
Also, one more spray to back of hair 2 hours after.

**Environment** : Went to ramen restaurant, Japan-town mall with cousin. Fairly crowded.

**Self effects** : Generally cheery, talkative, giddy. Kinda more confident. Sure felt confident walking out my door. Felt more normal as the day went on.

**Effects on others** : My usually-grumpy cousin was a bit more cheery today. Got a few looks, I was dressed a little more conservatively than yesterday. One guy was staring, but he was way to far away to actually be affected by IS/a. Also, this guy who works at the crepe place said more to us than her usually does, but I think he’s learning to expect us since we go like every sunday. I forgot what he said exactly but he asked if we wanted extra napkins (gasp!) and said something like “See you next time.”
HOWEVER - my cousin stated that she smelled bacon. She kept saying it. Wherever we went. Even the bus on the way home. Then she said, “Is it you?” and smelled my head. “It _IS_ you!!! You smell like _BACON_!!” I was mortified. She went on to say that it was by no means a bad smell, in fact, I smelled delicious. But like sizzling breakfast meat.

…wut?

I just asked asked my mom to smell my head. She said it did not smell like bacon. She said citrus, which makes sense as it it supposed to be neroli. Thank god. But the weird thing is, my cousin has curiously strong sense of smell. Like, she has a _super-smeller_. It’s ridiculous.
Also, I think we passed a woman in the bookstore who was (possibly) also wearing pheros. But like WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY too much. I could tell when she was approaching by her smell. And when her cloud passed by, I got dizzy. After we left, we were both feeling lightheaded and silly. (Then the bacon conversation began.)

So…what the hell?

Bacon? Really? I don’t want to smell like bacon…

**EDIT** :
Actually, I just remembered: when my cousin said my head smelled like bacon I asked her to smell my wrist too. She said my wrist didn’t smell as strongly of bacon, that it smelled like it was layered with something else.
So maybe it’s my hair?
I was wearing a hair product today, but that stuff just smells like green apples, so there’s no reason why it should smell like bacon.

I’ll try again tomorrow.

Well, gee - suddenly after smelling like bacon I’ve gone from being a “pheromone cadet” to “pheromone enthusiast.”

I may be enthusiastic about bacon, but not smelling like it.

I suppose there are worse things to smell like.

I dunno. Maybe my cousin is just nuts.

Ok, I’ve been reading around, and from what I’ve seen, I really don’t like this PUA stuff. Everything I read about it seems so portray anyone without a Y chromosome as a goal, rather than a person. It seems like it’s become a game, complete with terminology and pre-determined rules. I mean, the simple act of starting up a conversation has become the labeled task of “opening up a set.” I guess it’s easier to memorize approaches and facts and statistics rather than actually learning to be comfortable with good social skills.
I dunno. The whole cookie-cutter pickup thing seems so contrived.

Good lord I’m exhausted.
I’ll be trying ISa on just my skin tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t smell like breakfast. I’ll layer on another scent I guess.

ooooh, hot topic here. you’re not alone in this feeling. i think domnk posted in the women’s section about this, and hating to always have to read pua material in the men’s section. (short answer: this was foremost a pickup and attraction forum)

just checking in with your journal.

Went shopping today with a friend downtown.
It was kinda windy, but surprisingly warm (for SF) and fairly crowded.

I had put on about 3 sprays of IS/a before leaving the house (wrists, neck, chest) and got a little bit of a zing. I do feel kinda sexy immediately after putting it on, but I don’t really think it lasts longer than an hour.
I also added one more spray to the chest while out and about.
How much IS/a is too much for most people?
I guess I’ll have to look around.

**Effects?** :
On the way downtown, this guy was practically standing over my seat, even though there was an empty one right in front of him. I think he was smelling me. Also, I think I heard someone take a huge whiff from behind me. Not sure on both counts, but possibly.
Dressed pretty plainly today (but wore a fairly low-cut shirt) and I got a few looks, mostly while walking around in the men’s section of Urban Outfitter’s. At that point, I had given my chest another spray while in the dressing room. I wish the smell would settle down a little faster because I thought I was going to be _that chick_ with way too much perfume on. I know _I_ was a little on edge because of the strength of it, but no one else seemed badly affected.
My shopping buddy didn’t seem to notice anything, and he’s the type of guy that’s like, “Omigod, what the FECK is that smell?”
So I think that’s good. He was in a pretty good mood today too, and he can be kinda crabby sometimes.

Ultimately, I don’t know. Is it helping? No clue.
I guess I’ll just have to work my way up to an overdose.

Maybe I should get one more spray in before I go back out again tonight.
Whaddaya think?

As soon as I’m done testing IS/a I’m moving on to /b. Then maybe I’ll be able to tell the difference.😕

That’s actually the best way to find your ‘sweet spot’, increase the dosage more and more until you find the overdose amount, and then use one less spray than that. 🙂

If you already have that TAL-type personality, it may be a little difficult to find your dose with IS\A. Sounds like your getting, um, minor hits with IS\A, but they seem to be kind of creepy. 😛🙄

Here, this might give you a better feel of IS\A vs. IS\B.
It’s a post from Lor’s ["Venting" my Adventures - #357 by Lor](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/venting-my-adventures/24664/357) thread.

Keep in mind, that TAL is the main ingredient in IS\A, while TAH is the main ingredient in IS\B.

Yeah, I’m beginning to think I’m naturally more of a TAL girl.
However, I attract creepers most of the time anyway. ☹

I’ll add another spray tonight and see what happens.

I’ve been getting a pretty good idea of the differences from peoples’ posts… so I think IS/b might be a more interesting experience for me. I just wanted to start with IS/a because it seemed to fit that the first one I try is the more dominant one.😛

situation specific for the most part, and mostly regarding -none. the long story goes that asians naturally don’t produce as much -none, so the women aren’t used to it and the guys can’t tolerate it.

the social -nols work well on asian people, as does -rone on women. -none is a bit touchier. this is coming from my own experiences as an asian guy.

try not to put too much thought to it. go about finding your sweet spot and observing and creating reactions.

batman always wins through some trusty weapon he has in his belt or by paging one of his many armored vehicles. you could be bat[wo]man and use your trusty pheros. if you had many armored vehicles, that would be a bonus.
