Hello everyone. I’m new here, and have been mostly lurking until now. I have a few questions, and would be very grateful if anyone could clarify things for me 🙂

First, copulins.
" Some European women dab their vaginal juices on areas in which perfume is traditionally applied, such as on the neck and behind the ears. This rationale for this is obvious: by juxtaposing copulins to the man’s nose, a greater dose is delivered." (link removed)
That sounds pretty icky, but it’s probably sanitary enough…
How many copulins are in a certain amount of vaginal secretions? 😕 It seems to me that quote implies that there’s more than I assumed. I just can’t find an average anywhere (though I have found that apparently 2/3 women don’t produce cops. How depressing ☹ )

Why do certain scents (the neuroli?) diffuse pheromones better?

Why do certain pheromone mixtures cancel each other out?

How is it that mixtures like Instant Honesty won’t affect you just because it’s on your head, or the back of your neck, but someone farther away than you are from the concentration is able to be affected?

“Failure to respond to copulins or other pheromones may result from a variety of causes such as nasal infections or allergies, smoking, certain genetic defects, head injuries in which the olfactory nerves are sheared, and possibly incipient Alzheimer’s disease.” (same article as above)
Ahh… I don’t really have any questions about that, I just found it an interesting bit of information. I had heard of the nasal infections/allergies on this forum, but didn’t know smoking, genetic defects, and Alzheimer’s also affected an individual’s response to pheromones.

Also, I’m leaning heavily towards Instant Sexiness (Carrie suggested version B in my intro thread) and, if I can afford them, Instant Honesty and Instant Sunshine. I’m a slightly unapproachable young woman, but I wouldn’t want the extra attention [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) invites. I would just like to give off a friendlier, more feminine vibe. I’d rather come across as “cute and scrubby” instead of just “scrubby” 🙄 Any suggestions or thoughts? Remember, I don’t get any fancy stuff until I’m more experienced 🙂

Well, you ask a lot of tough questions. No scientist here, but let see if I can answer some of them.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop. One of those mysteries of the universe…

Not sure if it diffuses better, but in aromatherapy and other ancient herbal arts, neuroli is an aphrodisiac. It’s the perfumers alcohol that diffuses the [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). You kind of need a scent to act as a carrier so others are aware of the path. The human nose is not as sophisticated as animals, since we’ve evolved to not use it so often. (Most of us use visuals to entice mates). There are a few humans that do have a sharp nose for pheros. For them, you don’t need a carrier scent. For the rest it’s like calling attention for them to sniff. Have you ever smelt something and used you nose to figure out where it came from? Kinda like that. They may get the effects without knowing. But if your wearing them, you should get the credit. 😉

Part of life?? One possibility is just the chemical composition. If you’ve study science you know vinegar and baking soda does some weird stuff. The other possibility is the psychological effect. If one is an uppity and the other sedates, you brain might only be able to process one experience at a time.

No, it will affect you if your not conscious of keeping you thoughts to yourself. I nearly blurted out a scandal because I forgot I had it on. People are like this…they mimic. If you are open and honest on the phone and are a hundred miles away, people will reciprocate the honesty…most of the time.

I think shine and sexy definitely adds beauty and confidence. Confidence itself makes your aura glow. And it’s the glow that makes other perceive you as beautiful. This is why some people if you never talk to them they would always appear average. But once you do they are so cute.

Speaking kindly towards others always wins popularity points. If you have nothing to say talk about things that make you feel good. Pointing out beautiful things always inspires others to add. Plus this makes others always look forward to talking to you. I’m not a -Androstenol fan, since I talk alot already and -Androstenol products make me hush up because I’m trying to hard to control the outcome.

Hi Tealeaves! Welcome to the forum! 🙂

Good explanations and advice from sugarspice.

As far a pheromones go, like a-Androstenol and [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/)…many people can and do learn to control their chatter. For others, like sugarspice, because they are so _naturally_ chatty it’s not as easy so they tend to avoid those or use less.

It’s definately not one size fits all when it comes to pheromones. That’s why individual testing of products is so important…one spray at a time.

If you don’t take the steps neccesary to find your ‘sweet spot’, with each one, you can’t really get an understanding of how they all work…alone or together…no matter what you read about them or how they are experienced and explained by others.

We’re all different and pheromones effect each of us differently that’s why you gotta find out for yourself! 😉

Have fun, good luck and keep us posted!

This made me laughhhh
Oh well. I guess we’re not meant to know _everything_ 🙄

Ah, that makes perfect sense! Sort of a subtle “this way!” 🙂

Ahh… so, confusion I suppose. One friend of mine gets terrible headaches under fluorescent lights, because they flicker at high speeds and overload her brain, which is trying to keep up with the lighting subconsciously. I guess it’s like that, in a way?

I guess where you spray it doesn’t matter much then, huh ☹

🙂 How inspiring!

True dat. No one likes the office gossip. No matter what s/he looks like, I always picture him/her as a sneering cow. Haha!

Thank you very much for answering my ridiculous questions. I really appreciate it 😃

Hmm… that’s what makes experimentation so difficult and interesting, it seems. But I refuse to be deterred!

Thank you for the insight 🙂

(Argg… I KNOW I had another question… I keep forgetting it, whatever it is. For the past two days now 😠 )

Excellent questions! Maybe I can add a little to the solid advice you’ve already received.

If you are referring to that “control men with your copulins” site, no offense, but that lady is a deluded kookoo nutbird. Now excuse me for a moment while I go attend my hordes of copulin slave boys…Just a sec. (Kidding!)

> [@](#):

> How many copulins are in a certain amount of vaginal secretions?

Don’t know but I imagine several male graduate students are applying to perform such a study.

> [@](#):

It’s not the scent, it’s the way the molecules diffuse in the air. And detectable yummy scent encourages people to breathe deeply.

> [@](#):
>

Too strong a signature, and people tend to block the signal completely. Mixtures can compete, I guess, offering different effects that can blend into a new effect.

> [@](#):
>

Smmmmmmmmmart question. Love it. It does effect you. However, you breathe in your own scent 24/7, even a totally codependent guy or friend is not that close to you or around you that much. So you get used to the pheromones you are wearing much more quickly than other people do. When you first try [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/), do so at home, alone and away from your cell and computer. My first time with that stuff, I logged in here bubbly as could be and told everyone about a parking ticket I hadn’t paid!

Pheromones will get you extra attention, so do be prepared. It’ll be nice happy welcoming attention tho, so no worries. In your pic you don’t look the least bit scrubby! You’re totally cute regardless! Instant Sexiness would be perfect for you, and Instant Honesty and Instant Shine. Your instincts about those products are perfect.

Haha! No, actually, it was a research site… I didn’t even realize my link had been removed until now… Oh well. I don’t think I’ll ever find it again (read: I’m lazy)

Ah! That seems pretty obvious now. I forget in a sense that pheromones are detected olfactorily.

I don’t mind either way whether I get double-takes and the like, actually (I’d never notice). I’d just like to ensnare those I’m already acquainted/close with. Muwahaha!
Aw, I was hoping that it was edited enough that no one would suspect it’s me :o I made it as an icon for a friend, who requested that I edit a picture of myself, but she edited it more anyway. Ah, I miss my pink hair!
I assure you though, I’ve gotten pretty scrubby lately. No makeup, bed head, the whole enchilada. Hmm… I’m sexy because I make it work? [insert confidence and self esteem]

I didn’t score well enough in chemistry to answer most of these questions, but in terms of spray location–IH will get into the air around you and will affect you no matter where you spray it, but it will affect you a heck of a lot less on the back of your neck than the front of your neck, when the spray application is _right_ under your nose. That’s what we’re trying to get you to avoid.

Conversely, if you spray the top of your head and lean your head against that cute guy’s shoulder, you’ll only be affected by the molecules diffused into the air, while he’ll have your warm, diffuse-y scalp right under his nose–putting you at a major advantage. See? 🙂

Thanks Laurie, you give me great (slightly sinister) ideas 😃

And I remembered my other question(s)!

**Do pheromones react very differently with different age group (copulins not affecting prepubescents I hope, etc.)?**

**I read on this forum that pheromones cling very well and very long to fabric. If you applied the pheromones to a piece of cloth that you wear every day (like a scarf or something I guess), would you be able to wear it for a very long time without reapplying?**

Insight is greatly appreciated! 🙂

People in general react differently to different mones … but I’ve often seen the generalization that youngish women (say under 25) don’t go for androstenone so much as older women and ovulating women, and the older the woman, the more 'none she can appreciate 😉

I don’t know how young children would react to copulins - I haven’t had any experience with that and don’t recall seeing any negative reports. I think Dolly wears large amounts of copulins around her and her fiance’s kids but I don’t know their ages - and with no ill effects as I recall.

The scarf trick would work, yes … just like perfume on a scarf or coat, it lasts and lasts, sometimes until you clean it! Mones are more diffusive if they’re radiating off your warm body, but will still have a minor lingering presence on fabric for some time.

No ill effects that I recall…my son is 9, and my finacee has a 10 year old son and an 11 year old daughter…I wear cops (lots of them) most of the time…
