In my experience, existing office social structures can be intimidating experiences for new and existing employees alike.

**For a new employee** , it can be daunting going into a new environment where 1. everyone already knows each other and 2. you have to prove yourself not only professionally but also establish connections with your new team.

**For an existing employee** facing a new hire, they wonder how you will fit in, will you be an arrogant fucker or a nice guy, will you be assertive or weak, will you be great or poor at the job, are you socially attractive or unattractive etc…

Normally, A314 is the gold-standard [pheromone](https://a314.com/) for the workplace. I’ve used it many times on the ground and in the air with superb results. However, for a new employee, I feel it could, _ **could** _ get things off on the wrong foot. Imagine you are an existing employee and this new guy gets hired, you immediately sense a “high value” vibe…this guy is a professional and highly accomplished. He’s a leader, high-powered and no doubt very well-connected. **You react in awe.**

I believe that for new employees, building relationships with your new team, trust and generally being well-liked, is of primary importance. Your interactions improve, you do well on the job professionally and you enjoy coming in to work. Yes, A314 will mark you out as the star man, but it can cause conflict if there exist other star men in the workplace and can certainly intimidate those subordinated to you. **Your own behaviour will change as you react to the behaviour of those around you. In some cases, that may not be a good thing.**

I argue that MX297 is the appropriate choice for a **new employee** in the workplace.

Why?

1. It fosters a sense of rapport and connection with male and female colleagues alike, that subdues the extreme “high value” and potential intimidation factor of A314

2. It gives a positive vibe along the entire vertical structure (bosses / seniors like you, see you as a “real good guy”, those under you see you as someone they want to be around and learn from)

3. Preserves the “status” effect - you’re seen as someone “special and cool”, but not in an intimidating way. More like Sam L. Jackson has come into the office, rather than Jack Nicholson

4. With the right congruency (external: clothes, shoes, general appearance; internal: behaviour, speech etc..), it can take you places professionally that you’ve never been to before (attending meetings with senior staff that you otherwise wouldn’t have gone to etc..)

5. Secretaries / support staff LOVE you.

Remember, this is for new employees. For those who have worked in a place for some time and are well-ingrained into the office structure, A314 is still gold standard.

Many thanks and god bless.

My experiences and thoughts reflect yours point for point. I would love to know which social mones are buffering MX297, because it is making my life a hell of a lot easier at work and I’m almost out.

I’ve been experimenting with pheromones in the workplace extensively, in a close knit work environment. Unlike clubs, or other venues where it might be a good idea to douse yourself with 4-8 sprays, I’m using 1-2 and am worried about the strength of smell and the effect. A little goes a long way in my particular situation and MX297 has been the most effective phero I’ve tested.

TUTH was a colossal failure at work; the common wisdom is that it’s not so hot for the workplace and I pretty much concur. It was just too much. I only wore it once and that day it clearly set the women on edge and it made the men (especially the ones that tend to be aggressive) **very** hostile. I got into a shouting match with a coworker over a bad judgment call he made and it escalated rapidly. Thankfully I was clearly in the right, so the situation worked in my advantage, but that sort of exchange is not an ideal situation at work. I simply did not feel the need to deal with his idiocy and I dealt with it in a very vocal and public manner, which is not the way I usually handle things. In retrospect it was kinda neat to think about how effective TUTH was at provoking reactions, they just aren’t the reactions I want out of myself or my co-workers. To me, this was a stunning illustration of the power of self-effects.

So I moved on to more social mones, like IO, IS and AMMO. IO smells faintly like beer to me, and while I feel it works as advertised, that’s not such a good scent for work. I need to focus on using cover scents instead of just using the mixes straight. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) at work has been a pretty solid.

AMMO has been decent too. My first experience with AMMO at work wasn’t so hot (which I posted about earlier) but I’ve been playing with it a lot more lately and I’ve been getting a better handle on it. I think my problem is that my sweet spot is around 2 sprays, which makes the scent a bit too strong for my office, but one spray doesn’t to seem to generate the same effects. I can get away with it, but it’s borderline.

Enter MX297. It’s got a light scent which is a little sweet, but pretty much flys under the radar: perfect for my needs. On the days that I wear 1-2 sprays, I clearly am more popular. The girls come and hang out for unreasonably long times at my desk. They just want to be around me. A lot more flirting. My conversations flow easier, there’s less critical judgment on their parts and the girls ALL seem to be nothing but smiles. I have no problem getting anyone’s attention or getting people to follow orders, without seeming overbearing. That’s not always the case on the days I don’t wear it. The men are more friendly and respectful. They’re also more open, which is **very** helpful. For me, IO works well with women, but when I want a guy to share his work concerns nothing beats MX297. I think that has to do with the status elevation; it’s an interesting mix of status, trust and friendship that lets men feel both comfortable in sharing their opinions and that the exercise isn’t a waste of time or a risk. I’ve gotten a “heads up” on a lot of touchy situations and changes at work, information that wouldn’t have been shared otherwise. _You simply can’t put a value on some of these effects._

So far my best results are from this simple mix: 1s Ammo, 1s MX297. After the initial “detergent” smell from AMMO settles down, I find it has a light sandelwood/spicy patchouli smell. It dovetails really well with the sweet Akuto scent of the MX297. On the days I take a break from pheros, I have to work noticeably harder to command the same respect and attention. This stuff is unlike anything I’ve used before and it’s really working for my style. MX297 is sold out atm and my supply is almost gone. I’m not sure what I could possibly substitute for it. Any suggestions?

nice report!! i like your contrast observations of a314 and mx297. these are two of my favorite mixes and i use one or the other in my workplace daily. your report got me to thinking… could ig fit into the “new employee” senario?
my current workplace has 4 new employees two male and two female that i’ve not yet meet other that a brief hello. next week i plan on getting to know them better . i think i might try ig on day one/ mx297 on day 2/and ig with mx297 on day three. i’ve never mixed ig with mx297 but i can see that the two could mesh togther quite well.

I hate to say this, but that’s, pretty much, common sense.

That’s not a bashing, it simply means that you DON’T GO INTO A NEW JOB WITH THE “”“I’M THE MAN”“” attitude, UNLESS you’re the new boss, and even that depends on what you want out of/from your employees.

Still … with A314, everybody is NOT going to look at the AUTHORITY it gives you, the same way. BOSS, ASSHOLE, KNOW IT ALL, MY HERO … will be their view of you, depending on the person.

I so enjoy your findings and postings, ps86651!

I couldn’t agree more. Don’t rock the boat. This can be true both of a work environment or any other where you are the new person walking into an existing social structure with an already established hierarchy. This goes along well with a post I made a while back regarding a progressive periodization structure for changing up ones signal to keep hits fresh. I advocate fluctuating the volume (quantity of mones used) and intensity (what mones are used) and shifting gradually from say IG to 297 to A314 for your rone signal for a more gradual…“coup?” with your dominance. Coming in too dominant and assertive when you’re the new guy can not only turn off the people that might be beneath you, but can make the people above you feel their status being threatened.

Still … there’s that **EXCEPTION** percentage … let’s say, 20% … in which panties will become moist, nipples will become erect, and you’re structing butt ass naked in their thoughts. I just hope when that happens, they’re all women! 🆒

With mones, ‘I’ say, “ROLL’EM LIKE YOU WANNA WALK IT!”

You wanna be starting something!

Fun!

Talk to me!

You can’t touch this!

The name is Bonds. James Bonds!

Honestly, tell me everything!

Me so hoooorney! Up against the wall, baby! Now, tell me! Who’s ya daddy!? And as a nonEnglish speaking Chinese man would say, **“WHO DADA!? WHO DADAAA!?”**

Add, mix, or leave out, according to how you’re feeling TODAY, Mister. 😉

this post reminded me of an earlier incidence at office. I had slacked off at work for some personal reasons and did not turn up for work for a few days without telling my boss and during this time there was a court hearing comming up on some litigation which I was supposed to attend on behalf of my company. Since I was handling the matter for a few years no one else except my boss was in a position to appear in court instead of me so the poor guy got stuck in court for the whole day… what more is needed to piss off a boss.

On the third day after everything is over I turn up at work wearing 3 sprays of [MX297](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/mx297/) (did not have A314 at that time and I am glad I didnt have it then). Guess the reaction from my boss … !
He was so delighted to see me he almost hugged me 😛 Throughout the conversation his relief /delight was so visible that I came out of his cabin a bit shocked.

A month or so later.. there was another instance when I was goofing at work and he called me into his cabin again for a discussion (screaming session). this time the issue was a ton of pending papers which were apparently urgent 😃 . Here I go with 5 -6 drops A314 (neck and forearms). Now instead of the typical firing which is dished out to errant officers, he tells me in a gentle tone that some of the papers on my desks are urgently needed by the superboss and that I need to process them urgently (he doesnt just tell me do it or that he needs me to do it but instead quotes his boss to denote the urgency of the paper) and throughout the conversation he was using the term we need to send these to BOSS (his boss a.k.a my superboss) + he mostly avoided eye contact during this conversation. Anyways the matter was laid to rest once I agreed to give him the stuff and delivered it in a few hours..

My narration is over.. you guys can draw your conclusions.
PS: these days I normally wear only 2 drops of 314 in office. the 5 drops was an exception
297 I consider too precious to waste in office (not in terms of price but availability).
