Hey guys, I’m new here. I’m 22 on the East Coast. I’d say I’m not bad with the ladies, but I have a pretty low self esteem and I could use some more confidence as well. I’m found out about [pheromones](https://a314.com/) through a movie. It was an olr one, called Love Potion Number Nine I think, and just for fun I looked it up online to see if there was something like that and that’s how I discovered pheromones. I checked for some on Amazon but it seemed like all the positive reviews said he same thing and the bad reviews had a mixture of results. I didn’t really want to buy a $30 item if there are so many mixed reviews about it so I did some more research. I found this site and decided since its a forum ill get real life Answers and opinions. In sure they work to some extend but I’m also sure the plecebo effect has a part in it. My main goal right now is to find out more about it and perhaps test it out later on. Hello, Welcome to Pherotalk !! 🙂 I am glad you didnt buy from amazon. I had once brought some pheros from amazon, called “Passion” and “Pherone M-11”. one was a total dudd and the other was mixed. 4 years later I stumbled upon androtics here. the stuff androtics sell does exactly what they claim… so you can buy knowing exactly what you are getting. for confidence, I would suggest [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/).. it gives off an aura of a successful leader of men vibe without being too dominating … its idea for young men of your age… for older men they have A314 which is similar but very overtly dominating… at your age it may be slightly difficult getting away with the A314 aura but you can manage just fine with Instant Gentleman or small does of A314 with socials like instant shine.. I would suggest that you stay with IG cause due to the approachable alpha vibe.. girls of similar age seems to respond well to IG. for parties and social confidence.. you can also try MX 297 or 390. users claim that it gives off an instant rockstar vibe… gathering everyone’s attention to the extent that people might even come to you and open a conversation without you initiating… al you need is a pleasant smile and respond well to others when they approach you or give you eye contact.. however instant gentleman is a proven product… the MX series is experimental and testing by us users is still underway.. so performance may not be uniform.. you will have to test yourself and find out 😉 ---

Yes, be very suspicious of products sold on Ebay, Amazon or any site spouting fantastic claims about phero properties and uses. If you read around here, as well as info on AD products, you will soon find the good competitive products and sellers mentioned in discussion. Being sceptical is a good way to start and yes, for some there may be an element of placebo. However, most of us have with a bit of testing, found the products and combinations that work for us in a reliable and repeatable manner. Although they may not be the products that caught our interest in the first place. Also remember that pheros are not the whole story - You still need to back them up with suitable attractive behaviour and body language in an appropriate environment. However, when all the bits of the jigsaw fall into place, you will see an improvement. 🙂 ---

I am thinking of getting a to go size of either [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) or Instant Shine based on the reviews by other users here, but I looked in the store and the things are pretty expensive. I’m in college so I can only work in the summer, so I don’t really want to spend my money regardless of the results. I would really like to know specific types of pheromones that work with someone in my age group. ---

Those two are spot-on for your age range. As are [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/), IO and IH. And as mentioned above, AD’s warranty is the best in the business, so you will not lose-out by trying some. 🙂 ---

Welcome Imhumbled, I think you got some good advice and for what you should start of with for your budget I recommend Ammunition 5ml and IO.
