A serious situation that requires assistance!

Well I have been adding more and more people to the facebook page as time and more importantly patience allows. Stupid facebook makes you add each person individually and you literally have to type their name in and not select from a picture. :frowning:

Well the funny thing is there are only 2 persons who have excluded themselves. One person who, well she is really freaking hot, but that’s what she has got going for her. As J put it, she sucks at life! The other one…drum-roll please…well its H, V’s roommate. No surprise there!

I made the story so its pretty darn close, but not exact. I’m sure V is smart enough to have it all figured out even if she is blond .

To everyone who has contributed monetarily so far we are really doing OK. We could still use some help though so if you haven’t yet, please do.

To everyone who has pledged to help, please ensure you keep your word. Like I mentioned even if you promised $25 and can only send a $1. It’s one more dollar than we had and every single dollar counts.

To everyone sending good thoughts, love, and prayers. Lets keep them coming. I don’t know if anyone here knows this but I lived on the streets for a while when I got involved in some bad things. It was a low period of my life, but it was what it was. For all the crap, for all those rough nights being harassed by cops to move, for everything I went through, I couldn’t imagine for the life of me, having a baby facing homelessness. I’m not going to allow it to happen. My horoscope chart says I was born to do this.

This just amazes me and while I can’t put this on facebook because she is a member of that group, I’ll post it here. Yesterday I was on the phone with her just chatting and seeing how the job hunt was going. She is always so cheerful and hopeful. There aren’t a lot of prospects out there right now but you wouldn’t know it talking to her

Wouldn’t you you know it, she read my facebook call to action group and guess what she said. I know that I’m in a similar situation to whoever that mommy is with the newborn, but I have faith and friends. If I have to sleep on someones couch I know I’ll be able to get back on my feet. I decided that I could do without a day of whatever. It’s important to me that everyone is OK, so I sent you what I could.

SHE DONATED TO HER OWN CAUSE!

OMG I practically broke down in tears. The passion and love this girl has for life is exactly why I had no qualms asking. Someone asked me just the other day how would I explain the true meaning of Christmas. In her words, in her actions, there I find the true meaning of Christmas.

Thanks for reading and taking part.

Wow..

Speachless

Me too…

Hey steve, i want to send some for the baby…

tell me how to??? fast..

who all in your family ??? what age???

if you can tell.

Its actually not a member of my family anna, its someone I have a lot of love and respect for. We are only accepting monetary donations at this time since that’s what she needs most. However not everyone can do that and especially with the economies of the world the way they are. As such if a donation is out of the question we ask that you send her happy thoughts, prayers, good will, positive energy her way.

J and I are taking her out to lunch this weekend and will give her what we collected so far. She is really going to be surprised . Her giving to her own fund is the law of reciprocity in full swing.

Anything that happens to come in late we will still get to her.

Really the only way I have for people to donate at this time is through paypal: junkyfungus@gmail.com If you don’t have a paypal account I eally don’t have another way. So please do the next best thing and send her the happy thoughts, prayers, good will, positive energy.

Sent a dollar with lots of blessings and happy thoughts. I really wish I could help out more during this season of giving, she’s such a kind soul! People like her will enjoy good karma, don’t worry Steve!

I can’t send any money right now since I don’t have a paypal but i’ll be sure to pray for her and you steve

Deja Vu: Thank you very much.

Your donation reminds me of a story I always heard when growing up. It was an old poor woman who had very, very little to offer, let alone sustain her own life. She would go to worship her faith and all the congregation, well off more so than she, would drop hundred dollar bills, diamonds, jewels, gold into the weekly collection. She gratefully had three pennies from her purse and her love of her faith in check she dropped two into the basket. Her God bestowed upon her all the blessings of the world because her two pennies were of more value, more worth to her than all the other donations combined. Those others gave and were generous, but her gift was so much more. She gave from her heart and that my friend is all that matters.

Your dollar is gratefully appreciated and believe me when I tell you this, it will do more to make her smile and will come back to you ten thousand times greater. You gave it with love and that is the greatest gift you can give. So thank you for that. Everyone gave what they can and every two pennies, every $5, every ten and twenty and $40, every $50 is JUST as important as every good thought, every bit of love sent. Its what is in your heart that really counts.

OK after calculating everything up I was able to raise over $300 from good friends and family and lots of good vibes sent her way. I’m not sure what J raised, but we are meeting up and then taking V out to dinner at Olive Garden tonight. We decided we are going to let her know she has friends who really care for her and just give her the cash in a card signed from the both of us.

The bad news is that V was pretty darn sick yesterday and missed work. There’s this strep throat going around so there will be no kissing tonight. I know she was pretty worried last night and while she didn’t mention just how dire it really is for her she did talk about how she is hurting a little. I know she is going to cry when she opens our Christmas gift and sees how people really do care. Remember she donated money to her own cause. In this instance it did come back a thousand times. I’m so proud of her and I’ll keep everyone updated how it goes.

For everyone who helped: THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!

Quick update: Guess what? She cried!

Always good to get some happiness out there SteveO.

Well, the transfer to my account finally completed and I sent it. A few days after I started the transfer of $10 I spent $15 on mones and was thinking to myself “you’re such an asshole, Christmas is about giving” but it would’ve taken another week to add more money lol. Hope that helps. Glad to hear about how happy she was.

Yeah absolutely it helps. I’ll see her later and give it to her then. Every bit will always do some good. Thanks
