It is the month of August, on the shores of the Black Sea. It is raining, and the little town looks totally deserted. It is tough times, everybody is in debt, and everybody lives on credit. Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town. He enters the only hotel, lays a 100 Euro note on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one. The hotel proprietor takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the butcher. The Butcher takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the pig grower. The pig grower takes the 100 Euro note, and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel. The supplier of feed and fuel takes the 100 Euro note and runs to pay his debt to the town’s prostitute that in these hard times, gave her “services” on credit. The hooker runs to the hotel, and pays off her debt with the 100 Euro note to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there. The hotel proprietor then lays the 100 Euro note back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything. At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the rooms, and takes his 100 Euro note, after saying that he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town. No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism.. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is Doing business today. ---

Actually, since the government collects taxes on each of those transactions Obama could rack up quite a surplus!!! It’s a wonderful world!!! Edit: Wait…that would require six rich tourists to work. ---

That’s why I always maintain that the British government should legalise prostitution. not only would it clean the industry up but think of the tax revenue 😮 I did hear that there were six rich tourists over there, but then they went fishing at Renny’s!!! ---

I can’t see why it is illegal to sell something that is perfectly legal to give away. ---

Calmly, his wife handed him a bank book which Showed more than thirty Years of steady deposits and interest totaling Nearly $1 million. Then she Showed him certificates of deposits issued By the bank which were worth over $2 million, And informed him that they Were one of the largest depositors in the bank. She explained that For the more than Three decades she had ‘charged’ him for sex, These holdings had multiplied And these were the Results of her savings and investments. Faced with evidence of cash and investments Worth over $3 Million, her husband was so astounded he could Barely speak, but Finally he found his voice and blurted out, ‘If I’d had any idea what you Were doing, I would have given you all my Business!’ That’s when she shot him. You know, sometimes, men just don’t know when To keep their mouths shut. ---

She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.” The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude. "She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.” “I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?” “Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.” The man smiled and responded, “You must be an Obama Democrat.” “I am,” replied the woman balloonist. “How did you know?” “Well,” said the man, “you don’t know where you are or where you are going. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s my fault.” ---

i think these jokes are funny…but really sad…because this country is really in trouble…I mean serious trouble. The bill that was just passed in the house on friday and if it gets passed in the senate is going to the kill the economy it is going to raise taxes on everyone, companies are going to move out of the country to avoid these taxes, and more jobs will be lost, i am talking about the cap and trade tax bill…our economy is in such a mess, i really do not see a recovery for a long time and i don’t think it will ever be the same and in the meantime we are ending up more socialized as a result of this thanks to obama I have not bought too many pheros in a long time beucause i just cannot afford it anymore..i have to put priorites over pheros and probably do not plan on it anytime soon. I have cut back my spending big time, so how does this help the economy? Everyone is doing this…that I know of…my 401K is crushed, my stocks went down, everything, and I am lucky to have a job right now.
