I have been testing Instant Gentlemen lately and have gotten great results. I just appear to be a cool person to hang out with and the ladies definitely seems to be more interested in getting to know me. Even before using pheros I had the ‘cool’ vibe going on, so I guess [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) just enhanced the effects. Now I’m curious about testing A314. But I’m concerned that it doesn’t go well with my image. As I said, I just appear to be a cool and laid back guy, I don’t have the alpha vibe going for me. Do you guys think A314 is worth a shot or will it be ineffective for me since I don’t seem to congruent with the message it sends? ---

It’s hard to say, since I’ve seen IG recommended over A314 for people your age. As a replacement, I’d say you’ve pretty much answered your own question. However, if you ever find that you _want_ to go with a more assertive alpha vibe, A314 will help you. You do have to make a conscious effort to be congruent with the signature, and it looks like you understand the concept of congruency well enough. To be honest, I’d probably leave it alone for now. It _is_ fairly expensive and there isn’t a to-go size available for it, aside from the test mixes that differ by one to several [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/). Maybe look into getting some MX102 or MX103. There’s also a MX17-something that’s another variation on A314. I can’t remember the number exactly, but if you look in the Experimental Test Mixes section of the store, it’ll mention A314 in the product description. Those all come as to-go bottles, if you want to sample them. -D4 ---

Good point. Also, I think congruency is sometimes a little “overrated” here by some people. sure it is an important factor, but think about it, you cannot be congruent to everyone single product, you can only try your best and that’s what it counts. IMO as long as you are not completely **incongruent** to the pheromones it is fine, don’t use congruency as a sole decision on whether to choose a product or not, as long as you put SOME effort into it you will get something in return. just because you are not an extremely high status guy or have great alpha vibes, doesn’t mean A314 won’t benefit you or you cannot choose the product. come to think of it, why need A314 at all if you are a great alpha and have extrmely high status??😃 if it’s me i would choose something else such as [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) or IO to balance my image. ---

I’ve found A314 imparts a mellow fatherly vibe, sorta a friendly alpha. It’s a subtle and laid-back sort of strength. Great for maintaining a chain of command at work but not a great social enhancer or date product in and of itself. Not a good image for a 19 year old either (wear some Old Spice and everyone will think ya a geezer). Even at my age I need to supplement A314 with considerable alpha Androstenol and androstenone to keep it balanced, friendly and sensual.
