Hey there, So I received my first order today (A314 spray and bottle of Shine) and began to apply it. My intention was to try 2 sprays of the 314 on my wrists and 2 IS on my neck. Not exactly the best way to test out individual effects but I wanted to see what would happen. Typically I use a little bit (1 spray or so) of cologne in the AM so when I head to work so maybe I was a little unprepared for the scent of both sprays. But damn, they smelled good but very overpowering. So I ended up doing one spray of the 314 on my wrists and 1 of the IS on my neck. Even with those minimal amounts I still felt like I was walking around in a fog of perfume for the first hour or so after I put it on. There were no real noticeable effects today - I’m not entirely surprised as many of the forum posts say that it takes a little bit for the 314 to kick in. I was hoping for a god personal effect from the shine but I also had a shitty night of sleep so I think that any potential effects would have been mitigated by those factors (and the light dose). Anyway, I’ll keep you all posted here over the next few weeks and let you know how things work out. I was curious if anyone else has thought that these were overly strong on the scent side of things? I definitely don’t want to be the guy that walks into a room and people think that he’s using way too much scent but I also want to be able to attempt to use these as they are meant to be used. I was thinking that a direct application after getting out of the shower would help the scent diffuse in the morning before I get to the office. Any other ideas? As an aside - over the weekend before I received any shipments I was in multiple instances where the thought popped into my mind “I wonder what would happen if I kicked it up a notch with mones”. I can easily see how one could have a lot of fun using these in different circumstances. To that end I ordered TUTH and [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). So, Alaskan, what’s been happening to your AMMO and TUTH?! I saw that you mentioned your order of these two products. Any combo’s with A314 + AMMO or TUTH happening? Checkin’ in on ya! 🙂 ---

It’s been a fun few weeks testing these products out. It took a few days for me to find a good routine in applying the 314 and IS but I’ve taken to using both on a daily basis (I just ordered the big bottle of the 314 'cause I’m running out - special forum here I come!). I found that about a spray and a half of the 314 is good first thing in the AM along with 2 of the IS. The initial smell does dissipate fairly quickly and I’m getting used to it as well. What about the effects you ask? There’s nothing huge that really jumps out at me with that combo but there is a subtle effect. I do notice some more blatant paternal instincts kicking in with the 314 as far as making sure that my team is on track as well as my own concern for keeping the proverbial train running. The lines of communication have always been good and it’s hard to judge if the difference made is from the 314, my own perception of the 314 or the fact that it’s been a relatively laid back few weeks. If I had to nail down the effect I guess the best way to describe it is that the 314 magnifies my pre-existing traits (it’s a healthy ego I have - really). I don’t think (and no one here advertises it this way) that anyone could drop it on (pun intended) and suddenly transform into a confident/sexy/insert-adjective-here that they’re not. But, for myself, it appears to be a great subtle addition to my lifestyle. Enough that I’d drop another hundred on a bottle so that should speak for something 🙂 The effects of the shine are pretty close to what is advertised - just taken down a notch or three. I notice some self effects as far as my mood in the AM is concerned and the morning talk around coffee seems to be a little bit more open and active. That’s one I’d recommend to any potential people looking around these forums as one to try out - it won’t give you an OD and potentially make things awkward. Cause that’s what happened with the TUTH and AMMO. So, it wasn’t an OD in the least. I was heading out for Friday night drinks with some co-workers (a weekly ritual) and used 2 squirts of AMMO on my neck and one of TUTH on my chest in the car on the way to the bar. My intention for this wasn’t to attract my female co-workers (been there, done that, it never works) but other people at the bar. I also figured that I could potentially gauge reactions from the people I work with. Long story short - after about two hours I was left alone with one girl (I’m 32 & she’s 24) and she practically jumped me. She’d been giving me that look (you know the one I mean) all night and it had been getting a little odd. It was flattering (and she’s a great girl in both personality and looks) but I can’t really cross those lines. So, I ended up getting her a cab and sending her home. We talked about it the next day (no harm - no foul) and things seem to be fine now. Or are they… Anyway, it’s been an adventure. There have been a few more definite hits off of the TUTH and AMMO combo (keep in mind that also usually has a layer of 314 and IS under it) - enough that I’m not really using the TUTH that much. I keep it handy (the to-go bottle) just in case but I’m not incorporating it into my daily usage. The AMMO I am - usually two full sprays applied to the neck.
