# A314 just arrived: does it really smell like cheap dollar-store cologne?

I just received my A314… I put it on, and it smells like a cheap, “dollar store” indian or chinese cologne. Maybe its a normal, standard smell, not sure…

I would be embarrassed to smell like that in public 🙂

Any thoughts from other users?

lmfao… wow how did you know what my grandma smells like :-D… i sugest coving it up with your own… i dont think A314 has any added sent to it so you may just want to add your own…

Its the smell of the Essential Oils the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) are blended in that you’re picking up. I’m not a fan of the smell of them either, but they supposedly promote the effects of A314.

Pheromones generally have a very distinct smell to them…its usually very faint and fades quickly, but they don’t exactly smell pleasant. I’d recommend using your own personal cover fragrance.
