Hi group, I just place my order for A314 on friday, can’t wait until i get it!!! My question is, can i mix it with my favorite Cologne “Hanae Mori”? Or should i let it stand alone? Thanks in advance!!! ---

It is lightly [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) scented (smells awesome by itself) but within a few minutes the Akuto has faded so you can cover it without any real issues. ---

Or should i let it stand alone? > > Thanks in advance!!! Dude, I LOVE Hanae Mori! I’ve been using it forever. It tends to work very well with younger girls because it has a very sweet smell to it. Older women tend to like the more musky and masculine colognes (thats where my Diesel cologne comes in 😛). But yeah, just like snoop said, the scent should fade quite a bit after 5-10 minutes, then just apply the cologne. It can go right over where you put the A314, but because cologne has alcohol solvent, I like to use it next to the [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) application, rather than directly on top of it. I may just be paranoid, but I do this to avoid washing away any pheromone. ---

I love that cologne but havent worn it in a long time. To me a314 makes me mean but when i cut it with cologne its a good mix. Try it without your cologne and test it one drop, two drops till you get your mix that works for you, then test it with your cologne so you know what to expect and figure out which works better for you. ---

I wouldn’t worry about that, if you read the A314 label it even says to use it with fragrance. I really don’t seem to notice a difference in lack of projection with cologne added on top of the A314 application. It would be the same either way if you apply IO or IH for example on top of the A314 so cologne on top of A314 shouldn’t be any different. > [@scotties123](#): > > Dude, I LOVE Hanae Mori! I’ve been aiming pheros next to my A314 application points because of the same reason. I guess I was also a bit worried about it causing the A314 to diffuse quicker than it’s meant to, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. ---

I’m anal about applications too, for example shirt collars rubbing up against my neck applications. I get scared that it’s going to rub them off (the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/),) but as far as the A314 goes if you’re still worried do what I do. Add one drop behind each ear carefully applying it all the way down to your chin/neck area in just one downward motion. Then you can add one or two more to your neck and then just cover those with cologne.
