# A314 Rev.29 Batch 29 Fragrance

Hello All,  
Just received a new bottle of [A314](https://a314.com/product/a314-classic/) . It’s rev. 29, batch 29, 09/22/11, batched by 2/6…does anyone else have this?

This is my first bottle of [A314](https://a314.com/product/a314-classic/) so I have nothing to compare it to and I’m aware that the fragrance package is intended to be light but I’m smelling very very little fragrance here, even when applied to my upper lip…anyone else have this experience?

Let me rephrase, the first smell I get when I unscrew the cap is that of alcohol. Which is odd because there’s no alcohol in the product…anyone experience this?

I’ve shaken the bottle and I’m in the southeast where the temps are still warm and still, I’m not really smelling much of anything.

Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.

I don’t noticed any difference between this one and rev 23 batch 17 according to the smell.

You will find the scent of the oil-base A314 is much more subtle and settles quickly to to very light.

The scent can also vary a bit from batch to batch because of the effects of individual components - particularly the natural plant musks.

This is all quite normal and IME it works just as well.
