From going through the threads, I keep seeing people talking about putting A314 under their nose, what’s the reason why? ---

The only reason I can think of for putting any [Pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) under your nose would to feel the self effects of it. ---

I do that sometimes but I don’t really know if it makes any difference. It won’t hurt anyway, it ought to diffuse there just as it would on your neck or elsewhere. ---

Yup - With A314, this is mainly to maximise the self effects. I’ve read of some folk also smearing a small amount of TUTH on the upper lip to help improve things when kissing but I have to say that after trying it quite a few times, I must remain undecided. ---

I believe that a great deal of A314s practical success is due to the self-effects, and I apply it to my neck. The mindset, the awareness and the drive are it’s best features, IMO. I like it best when combined with [P75](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p75/) (in males,) causing a vocal pitch drop, (lets your voice relax, I think) - though I suspect there is some p75 in it already. After applying A314 to my jawlines, I usually smear what’s left on my finger tips under my nose. I like the smell of it quite honestly, and even if its only a placebo effect, the smell reminds me to straighten up a bit, walk taller etc. ---

and if i may ask, what exactly are the effects of A314 supposed to be? like, compared to AMMO or something else? ---

You don’t compare A314 to [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) or anything else and it would take a long time to list all its many and often very subtle effects. For a start, A314 **is not** an attraction phero per-se and it is also **by far** the most complex and wide-ranging mix that AD sells that has effects in all aspects of your projection to other people. At its most basic, status, trust and respect are its primary influences. If you are congruent with it that is and it can take a while to get you personality in line with its effects at different doses. ---

A314 is almost not really a collection of [pheromones](https://a314.com/) understood in the conventional manner. It is like a magic amulet - a tool for attuning one’s own consciousness to that of all those higher quality people who live and have lived. But one can’t really understand it via words - you have to first wear it and respond to your subtle inner promptings and openings in life that unfold as a consequence. I had no idea what it was doing even three months after wearing it every day. ---

I think you will find yourself running to catch-up with the A314 to begin with. It took me about a month with the oil. You will notice all sorts of strange responses/new attitudes to begin with and you may find yourself asking questions about why you are using it but eventually it all begins to fall into place. 🙂 ---

Thanks mobocaster, I’m getting my shipment in tomorrow and so i guess tomorrow marks the day i start using -mones ! I also notice that a few people tend to use 3-4 drops, do you think i should start at 1 drop only? or should it be okay to maybe use 2 or 3? ---

Yes, start with one drop and follow the sweet spot guide till you find a good baseline dose for day to day use. **Only then** start experementing with different doses/mixes for hi-impact - work/social/dating situations. At my age, I find 2-3 drops (mostly 2) fine for work/day to day use, so I reckon a younger guy would need less - unless you want to run the risk of being seen as far too remote/stuck-up, older than your years or trying to put one over on your boss or similar. Once you have developed congruency with your base dose, it will be much easier to vary/experement.
