# A314 vs IG: after 3 months, IG's softer confidence is sometimes the better choice

I’ve continued to experiment with IG, which I started to after a314 went scarce for a while and I am very intrigued by the differences between these two wonderful products.

Like most people the alpha vibe of a314 is so awesome, my ego just fell in love with it. Whats not to love? Its strong, serious, confident, sexy.. what we all would love to be, right? So I mostly blew off IG with its more “light” formula, who wants to be a gentlemen when you can be the pack leader, right?

But I have been wrong. While I still love a314 to death, IG is has several effects that make it, sometimes, the preferred way to go. In the last 3 months I’ve found that IG give me a different kind of confidence that I love just as much. Its a much more fun, energetic and optimistic confidence that a314. A314 is more in the moment, so if someone does something annoying, I am liable to make it known that I do not approve. Great for being alpha, but maybe not so great at times, and certains situations. Now take IG, someone does something annoying and I find myself better able to deal with it with humor, while not being very annoyed by the action itself. very cool.

I’ve been wishing I could have the best of both worlds- the alpha, take no shit vibe of a314, but the very cool, optimistic vibe of IG. Mixing the two has not yeilded very good results so far, which I find confusing.

These two products are amazing and I would love to hear more thoughts on their differences and uses. What do you wonderful folks think? How do you perceive their differences?

btw, I would love to see IG in an oil base.

Good observation! 🙂

Too many people get so hung-up on the “alpha” idea of A314 that they totally overlook IG’s considerable value in so many applications where A314 can be too much.

And no, I’ve not found combining them much good either - The A314 steeringtakes over and obliterates the IG steering, making it a waste of IG for a weaker 314 overall.
