I am a bit of a heat generator myself and I have sinusitis from time to time. Maybe others can chip in and see if it smells like soap in cool climates but sandalwood in hot weather. ---

Not that it smells like soap - more that its scent strength settles to no stronger than a light scented soap by about 30mins after application. Although heat/humidity will compound this a bit, yes.
