# Adding Hedione to Alter Ego?

I have a bottle of AE which was the first [pheromone](https://a314.com/shop/) I acquired..

I love the product when it works.. which seems to be when I only use 1 tiny drop. 2 and I OD except with voracious cougars and certain Latinas and African girls.

Anyway, I HATE the smell. Soapy, citrusy not-goodness.

SO: I figured I might add a tiny amount of the fragrance Hedione, reported on other threads in the Research Forum to exhibit pheromone-like qualities.

Does anyone know what Hedione smells like (or as.. similar to..)?

Would it even work or would I risk diluting/altering the AE beyond recognition..?

I like AE for just those very reasons! 😛 😃

How are you applying it?

I ask because AE is one you can also use on clothing and when you do, the dose is considerably more elastic simply due to the lower diffusion/less effective nature of fabrics. So the 1-3 drop range I can use on skin stretches up to 6-8 drops on shirt/collar/cuffs etc.

AE also suits further-flung application points, like wrists, elbows, back of neck, top of head (if balding) etc which can help manage the scent better.

I can’t help you with hedinone but rather than mix them together and risk mucking-up the lot, you should first try using them on different but nearby application points till you find what dose of each complements the other best.

There are also quite a few AD products that complement AE well - IO, IS, P96 and P74 might all be in the frame for your age/interests. Also [P130](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p130/)/AE has proved surprisingly good around younger women for me.

The tip about different app points for the AE and the Hedione is actually quite clever.. I’ll test it out and report back with my findings.
