Hi all,

I’ve been going a little nuts lately with mixes but I think I’ve gone and over-done it. I had a 1/3 left of my ammo and being bored at the time I thought, hey I’ll add some P79 to enhance it. Woulda been fine if it stopped there but I went on to add:

P74
TAA
[P83](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p83/)

It would of all been ok, if I had focussed on a certain situation to use it, such as social or sexual and used only 1 or 2 of the ingredients. But no, was a bit over-enthusiastic and put the whole lot in.

I’ll let you know my ‘mix’ gets on. Logically, it should be a super socially sexy mix. I guess only testing will tell 🙂

Rattle

My tendency is to spray independant components on seperately, until I find a combination I like. Then for convenience I might mix up a batch so I can get the effect I’m after with one or two sprays from a single bottle instead of messing with multiple bottles.

By mixing on my skin, if the effects are not as expected I don’t waste a lot of ingredients.

Some people think mixes are better because it gives the ingredients a chance to “blend.” I haven’t noticed much difference though between mixed in the bottle and mixed on my skin.

All right! I think that’s an excellent point, GWTW – and in some ways more naturalistic, since pheros are not, I suspect, secreted from our bodies in a uniform blend.

Armpit, abs, groin, buttcrack, back of neck, etc …

I’d tend to avoid bottle mixing except in two cases:

1. If I really couldn’t afford the extra 45 seconds to spray a few different products from separate bottles.
2. If for some reason I wanted to be able to repeat exactly the same proportions and couldn’t accept even small variations in the recipe.
**If** it’s a matter of diluting something (e.g. one 10 mcg spray of androstenone and nine sprays of [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) … now one spray of the mix has only 1 mcg of none)

**Then** I’d prefer to dilute the ingredients separately. I bought a small “graduated cylinder” that’s marked off in 1ml and 0.2 ml levels. One ml of my 10 mcg per spray none plus nine ml of diluent (perfumer’s alcohol, or good vodka, or …) results in a solution with 1 mcg of none per spray.

All in all, I’d rather keep flexibility as an option. As long as they are in separate bottles, I can mix or use separately; once mixed, I lose the option of using them separately.

Cheers

Wind, do you typically spray and rub, spray and just leave alone? Do you let one layer dry down before spraying on the next? If so, typically how long? Are you applying to pulse points?

Do you adjust throughout the day or plan in advance and stick with it? Cold or warm climate? Are you active or dormant during the day? Do you spend most of your day in climate-controlled environment or outdoors? Do you wear fragrances alongside your pheros? How long after you bathe/shower do you apply your pheros? How often do you OD unintentionally?

MarkL, part of the reason I mix in bottles is for convenience but the main reason is to see how all the pheros work together. With a mix, you can apply all the molecules together in one place (if you have the correct dosage).

Also, given that I keep records of the mixes, I can re-create them easier than having to apply half sprays of certain ingredients etc.

Usually, I tend to make mixes in to-go bottles so I dont waste too much, however, the 2/3’rds empty bottle of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) was too tempting to leave alone 😃

I just spray them on. If I didn’t happen to get good coverage with the spray I might rub to spread it around but I don’t have any set pattern. I just spray them one right after the other. I don’t have lots of time to wait for drydowns. Favorite application points: Neck/wrists/chest hair/head hair

I may add supplements during the day. I did that a lot at first but less frequently now. Temperate climate. Mix of indoor and outdoor activities, but mostly indoor these days. I do wear fragrance, and I apply both them and [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) after my shower and shave. I rarely OD these days. Last time was some time ago, and I think then I may have OD’d on cover scent. It was quite pungent. I can use quite a bit of none without od. My current basecoat mix has 20 mcg/spray of none, but it is buffered.
