About a month ago I bought a whole stash of PUA (pick up artist) books, ranging from “The Game”, “Rules of the Game”, “How to Become an Alpha Male”, “Mystery Method”, “Professional Bachelor”, on and on. I pretty much spent some very decent cash for the top of the line and highest rated PUA books on the market. The reason for this is, although I don’t know if I necessarily want to become a PUA, I want to become a master of lady skills, suave, charm, etc…you get the point. I have been fairly busy recently and haven’t got a good chance to read any of these yet. I am a 20 yr. old single male in college and also work as a barback (bartender’s assistant) and also at Abercrombie & Fitch. I am not narcistic (sp?), or elitist, and definately not stuck up or cocky, so I won’t say I’m “hot”, but I do think I am fairly attractive (my personal opinion of course). I have been single for god knows how long, well over a year at least. I personally believe I am suffering from a “dry spell”, but who knows 😕. I wouldn’t say I am the most assertive of guys when it comes to finding a new date though lol. Hey I’m honest right? 😉 I am fairly lazy when it comes to actually seeking out a new girl to date. I need to definately step up my game, so that is why I bought the PUA books that I did. What are your recommendations and advice for me concerning the use of these books, and any other insight about dating women, life, etc? I am not the asshole/douche/prick/jerk “Max Tucker” type of guy, so don’t worry about me using these PUA books for bad use, nor am I a one night stand type of guy either. I am pretty outgoing, friendly, and talkative and not intimidated by the thought of talking to a girl I like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Revivia. ---

Being that you are a triple Leo with Mars in Aries, I would have to say that honestly, you are going to have a hard time seeing yourself in the mirror accurately. Modesty is not your strong suit, and what you believe is being honest about yourself is missing a few things. You are not narcissistic to a large degree, but I see that trait in you. Stuck up, no, but you are a bit of an elitist in some ways. Cocky? More than you realize. When I give you advice, and you brush it aside, knowing my track record of tending to give good advice, that’s part of the cocky… because I don’t think you’re that much of a fool. These are not necessarily bad things, and they are not necessarily developed to the fullest degree, but they are present. The trick for you is to learn to recognize them and then learn to control and shape these things into the amount and expression that makes you more successful with the ladies. In the right amounts and the right expressions, these are all things women look for, actually. Not narcissism, but a man who takes the time to make sure he looks his best matters to a woman. Not elitism, but a man who isn’t going to date and sleep with anything remotely female whom he happens to be able to talk into sex. Cocky is good if it’s not overdone and backed by solid confidence, experience and self assurance. And so forth. Not to get too much into astrology, but Leo is a natural with the ladies most times. I read once that “A Leo make needs women like he needs to breathe.” It’s true, and Leo rules romance. There’s not much more irresistible to a woman than a Leo man who has come into his own and knows how to turn on his natural charm. You’re still learning all this, but it won’t be too long. Just remember that you want to aim to be the best quality of man possible, because you will tend to attract women of the same calibre as you are. And stop asking for advice instead of reading the damned books you bought. Just go read the damned things. You spent over $100 on 'em, and now you’re asking us for the Cliff’s notes? Go read them for yourself you lazy ass. ---

LOL Catlord is a great friend, so I really don’t take the bashing personally, but always try my best to listen to his advice. I wasn’t asking for a Cliff Notes of the books lol. Lol, I will indeed read them, starting today. I bought “Mystery Method” today at Barnes & Nobles. Catlord has immense knowledge in astrology, and I am very interested in that subject as well. GO LEOS!. I like the fact that you are honest, and wouldn’t ask you to be any different. 😉 ---
