So sorry but you run the risk of 90% looking like a douche bag…at least out here in Texas. Avoid it haha. My point lies in the guys who put the Affliction on to step into the role of the “badass”. If your a great dude it doesn’t matter what you wear. But wearing stuff to compliment your bad attitude brings the brand name down. Now listen, I’m a skinny small asian guy so I’m pretty sure he won’t try to fight me or anything like that because it will make him look like as an asshole. I walk into his group of 3 girls and run my game, eventually he gets blown out LOL. Victory is mine! LOL, what about if he just truly did like the shirt though? 😕 It’s kind of like when I see a bunch of guys here in Orange County wearing Tap Out shirts. yeah but it seems to be an epidemic down here in Houston…I dont think half of the ppl that buy em even watch MMA..I barely watch it, and dont own one.. Like you would have to give it to me and I might wear it, or craigslist it, haha. But, to each his own. The dude does kind of have a “boo-boo” face right..😃 ---

Because guys who wear them are usually in good shape with big muscles, inciting jealousy on guys who don’t wear them because they are flabby and out of shape. For the record I don’t wear affliction but the hatred of affliction shirts has become a bit of a cliche. I walked into a bar once with a group of 5-6 people. Some were friends of friends. This bar/lounge was full of “pretty people” for lack of a better term. We were there less than 3 minutes when one of the guys in our group (who wasn’t a “pretty person”) said “let’s get out of here,this place is full of assholes”. What did he mean by this? Was anyone in the bar an asshole to him? NO. He felt tensions/pressure on himself because he felt inadequate because of the people around him. To him, these people are really good looking, they think they’re better than me…maybe he thought they indeed were better than him simply by being good looking, so he projected this into thinking “all these people are assholes”. His insecurity was showing, so when I see a jacked up dude wearing an affliction shirt, or a good looking guy that’s dressed well, I try not to let my insecurity of “this guy must be better than me cuz he’s in good shape and has a beautiful women around his arm so this makes me feel bad and therefore I will call guys like him assholes or douchebags”. It speaks more about you than it does about the dude in the affliction gear. There was a saying Tyler D said which is “you decide how much you’re worth, what you decide ends up being your price”. If you think you’re worth 6 cents, then you are only worth 6 cents. If you think you’re worth a lot of money, then you are…and people will treat you as such. ---

I used to be that way (like your friend) but fuck it, not anymore. Well, at least not as much since there is still times where I forget to “fuck it.” But I’m better now, who gives a shit if someone appears to be better looking, since truth is usually appearance doesn’t mean much if you’re a douche plus when _you’re_ probably also deemed as attractive by women as well, and don’t even know it because you’re too busy being intimidated by someone’s good looks. Branding yourself puts you into an archetypal disposition in regards to image of yourself that you project by preconceptual notions. If the general consensus is that Affliction T-Shirts are worn by complete douchebags then that’s what you will be prejudged as such by wearing the label. I know cases where bars and clubs have outright refused people entry because they were wearing Affliction or Ed Hardy. The reasoning was that alot of gangsters were wearing the clothing, so it became deemed gangwear and unacceptable dress code. ---

Personally I dont have a problem w/ the shirts, I just have a problem w/ trending..Ppl are always so quick to hop on the next trend to fit in, that they lose themselves in the end. I always made my own way, and sometimes ppl followed, but it wasnt for the recognition. They just respected me for doin me. ---

It’s usually stuff people are afraid to wear because no else is. That’s good because it save me money. Unfortunately when I find a good style it catches on after awhile and is ruined. I try desperately to keep a unique style. Hell, I’ve been hit on while wearing Oakley tactical boots and 5.11’s.LOL. ---

I just figure the less loot I spend on clothes(can still dress my a$$ off), the more I can enjoy it elsewhere. ---
