Just curious how many of you get very aggressive the same day or day after working out?

I don’t know what it is.. but sometimes the day after a workout I will be rather irrtiable and aggressive (not violent but short fuse).

I usually control how I talk but sometimes I give my SO hell and its not like me before I started my workouts.

The funny thing is if this aggression is tied to testosterone release I should be feeling like screwing but that is not always the case. the day I want to screw are usually when I’m horny but relaxed.

Right now as I type this I feel aggressive.. i’m wearing no mones today or yesterday, and showered and scrubbed a lot so it can’t be OD to mones.

I don’t like this angry feeling.. i feel introverted and that i can’t really go out and about with people as i’m in a pissy mood.

What do you guys do when this happens? How do you return your mood back to a relaxed state?

Just out of curiousity the only thing that changed was I worked out after 4 days absence. the previous 4 days I was calm as can be. Right now I feel rather short tempered and disoriented.

I lift weights 2-3 times a week followed by 25 min of light cardio.

I eat a fairly moderate fat diet 30% far or maybe 40%, and the rest is protein and carbs, mostly protein.

I have a stiff neck today (I have a long standing neck injury) and it acts up sometimes after working out. usually go for massage 1x week and it helps. I wonder if my stiff neck is affecting my moods?

Anyone have any advice? Wow the day I worked out after 4 days absence I felt fantastic and relaxed I even had sex. but now the next day its hell.
Also I am losing weight.. Over the past 3 week I have lost about 8 lbs as I cut out a lot of starches out of my diet.

I wouldn’t say I’m eating low carb but its not that high an amount..

Anyone experience similar? How do you overcome this aggression, and irritibility?

Hey

yes I do. If I don’t work out, I usually sometimes suddenly get agressive towards someone and am surprised about myself every time then as I’m usually a calm person.
When I work out my agression increases a bit which I also connect to feeling more lively which is a positive work-out effect.
To dampen agression, I either take a nap or meditate. Get a cup of good tea and meditate, it helps really.

Short: Some of my “stored” agression gets released during and after workout. Not negative, otherwise I’d release it unintentionally to a situation where it might do more harm than good.

I can’t take a nap I feel aggressive and wide awake.. Wired is more like it.

I can’t relax.. Where is my damn massage therapist when I need him.. sick of course of all days.

Another workout would destroy my joints as I’m over 35.. 3x week is my main workout schedule

Thank God I don’t have a date tonight.. i feel so tense.

😉 dsouza
I learned to control my emotions. Can’t always prevent them from coming up, but I can stop them.
You’ll be surprised how calm you feel after a good tea while not **being too fixated on your mood**.
With daily meditation you can learn to control your emotions to a certain extent.
Maybe you wanna give it a try when you feel better 🙂

I play guitar and it may of aggravated my neck now that I think of it since I did it the day after weights.

I just popped an advil and a tynenol. I figure I just need some help to stop this aggression and I believe it is stemming from JOINT pain.

Glucosamine has done nothing for me.

I wonder if [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) may help me out? Anyone think it may improve my mood on days I feel like this.. Its not really therapy for aggressiness but it has been recommended for hangover.. I don’t have hangover just pain an aggression and irritibility.. man I feel like a woman PMSing.. haahah
