# Ah! A314 has been out of stock for a while. I wonder.

haha, that gave me a good chuckle 😃  
A314 is great stuff, good thing i still got like… half a bottle… I ware this stuff all the time, its just great, hope it gets back in stock for you to get some, get some the A.D. A314, it the good stuff.  
well so i was told, the “other places” A314 is an old formula. which may or may not be better. who really knows, i just know the A.D. A314 is great!

now that we all talked it up you shall wait impatiently 😛

I was overly excited when my bottle of AD’s A314 arrived. Unfortunately I may be returning because of the smell. I only tested 1-3 drops four times but there has been a few looks of unapproval. I believe this to be from the smell, not OD. 3 sprays of Aqua Di Gio will not cover it. The cologne itself damn near ran back in the bottle. Gegogi has the best descriptions of poor smells but I equate A314 to this…a bag of smashed a\*\*holes! Sorry, the smell bothers me. Oh well. Every bottle can’t be a winner. ☹

really?!?! i dont think it smell that bad!  
it stinky but i can cover/doesnt effect me or other ppl that i can notice. that is very unfortunate for you cuz it is a great! product

I’ll continue to test for a bit. I detest returning anything though. Especially something the company will have to eat the cost on. Also, I wasn’t aware of the variations between AD’s and L-S’s versions. I come off as smooth enough anyway. A more jagged edge might me what I’m looking for. Hell, I’ll probably buy one from L-S and mix them. LOL. I’ll call it A628. 🆒 Time will tell.

I’ve been complaining about the scent package in AD A314 for some time. I don’t use AD A314 anymore but recall it smelled like sweaty hippies dancing at a dead concert intermingled with freshly wiped ass. Plus it gives me a rash on my neck and forearms. I switched to LS A314. Although it is made by AD too, it has a much better scent package, lighter oil and is a more effective formula (a little more “alpha”).

I wouldn’t mix LS and AD A314. You’ll ruin the LS A314 and smell like spicy hippie ass…

i should give the LS a try sometime 😛

if you want some more " jagged edge" -ness should get some instant jerk, and kick some puppies 😛 lol

im going go snif my bottle of A314 sometime soon, and see if i can imagine the dancing hippies 😃

hey, Gegogi, any chance you know when AD got the newer formula where it smells the way you described it? I have an A314 bottle from AD a little over a year ago. Would you wager a guess that its the new formula or the old formula? Or anyone who might know for that matter.

They changed about a year ago. I didn’t care much for the prior scent either–too headshop–but better than sweaty hippie butt. In fairness, LS A314 is only slightly more “in your face” than AD A314. I could go with either one and be happy if the AD scent wasn’t so summer 'o love 'n itchy.

Now I would never kick a puppy. Only a fully grown dog.
