Got a 5 ml sampler of [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) today. It’s an interesting scent. It has a similar “feel” to the scent of Ammunition, although the two are discintly different scents. They would probably both strongly appeal to anyone who strongly liked one or the other. I’m not sure what to make of it. At first I didn’t much like it, but as it dries down, I am liking it more and more. It definitely has a musky scent up close, one that suggests the scent of sex, as has been said before. I think I like it, even though it’s not the sort of thing I would be instantly attracted to for purchasing. I am almost certain that this scent will have aphrodisiacal properties at some level because of the musky, sexual nature of it. If it does turn out to have such properties, I don’t care what it smells like, I’m buying some. ---

I got the sample as well. VERY nice! Has an aftershave smell. However, I don’t know how I could use this with my mixes, as most of the products I’m using in my mix have the perfumers cologne in them. I don’t want to spray it on with them and then have this overwhelming smell. ---

I used [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) during my recent vacation. I usually don’t get any compliments on the fragrance I wear but I got plenty with Akuto. Kinda caught me offguard because I wasn’t ready to answer the question, “What cologne are you wearing?” ---

I’ve concluded that the scent doesn’t do anything for me, but I also have concluded that sitting in the house repairing computers for days on end doesn’t get me out and about to have a chance to share my new scent. I think I am going to have plenty of opportunities soon, however, since I’ll be going back to college in a couple days. ---

After having had my distractant discover my [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) while I was waiting for something, and commenting on how good it smelled, I started wearing it for her… and I started noticing that Akuto by itself does get attention from the ladies. I have also concluded that where I apply it seems to have a big impact on how I like it. I think it’s that near/far different scent thing… but now I’ve discovered where to apply it so that I like it. 🙂
