OK so my wife responds remarkably well to mones. But she hates the smell of the alcohol. She can handle the A314 smell, but not any of the sprays. Right now I’m testing MX395, but I’m sure that she has complained about smell when I wear putatives in [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) as well. I apply at 6:30am and she says it’s still strong at 6pm at night. I’m doing another p75 test tomorrow, so I will see if it’s just the FF21. Any ideas on what I can do? ---

I assumed the alcohol was just a medium for transfer from the bottle to the skin and that it evaporated fairly quickly after application. The unscented putatives I have smell like alcohol for maybe a few minutes, but then that smell dies down and I’m left with either nothing or what I take to be the smell of the molecule itself. When using scented products, I notice almost no alcohol smell at all, as the scent covers it. If I notice any at all, it quickly dies away. Perhaps your wife just has a super acute nose? Or maybe she’s imagining the alcohol smell or interpreting some other scent in the cologne as alcohol. I just didn’t think any alcohol really stayed on the skin, and definitely not for 12 hours. ---

Right now it’s the MX395 that she is complaining about. It appears that she notices the alcohol smell more when shes menstruating. Maybe that is what is going on. Today I am wearing [P75](https://a314.com/product/p75/). I will check with her tonight to see if she still notices the alcohol smell or if it’s really just FF21. ---

OK I wore [P75](https://a314.com/product/p75/) and P79. I got the same complaint, however it was the P79 application point that she targeted. She didn’t notice it for the first hour that we were in the house together until we got into the car. Then she said it was a strong alcohol smell. Any ideas?
