Here’s a short powerpoint by a guy from UWM, it’s pretty interesting [www.uwm.edu/~ag/teach\_pdf/lecturenotes/perception/13%20Olfaction.ppt](http://www.uwm.edu/%7Eag/teach_pdf/lecturenotes/perception/13%20Olfaction.ppt) Especially interesting is the last part of it, Pheromones: **Alpha** **Androstenol** _ **alpha** **androstenol** _ (predominantly secreted by females) - Increase sexual arousal in males - Increases male perception of female attractiveness - women in photographs were rated as significantly more sexually attractive when judges were first exposed to **alpha** **androstenol** - Increases willingness of females to initiate social contact with males - females exposed to **alpha** **androstenol** were much more receptive to male-initiated contact - more likely to seek out male company - less likely to seek female company So basically it influences girls to choose to talk to you, instead of one of their girlfriends, and at the same time they are willing to do this anyway, that’s what the pheremone has them feel Also, going in and initiating contact is much much easier, as they are much more receptive to it xD Gonna order me up some [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/) soon ---

This would explain why it has such a powerful sexuality reducing effect on males. I wasn’t aware until now that alpha-androstenol was primarily a female [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/). ---

Yep, and the “More likely to seek out male company” part of it may also be why some people get that non-sexual friend-zone effect from Androstenol, yet still with all the talking it comes with too EDIT: I now take part of that back. True, Openness MAY lead to the friend zone by itself. Really, it all depends on both people in the interaction. But pair it with Androstenone and it’s a deadly sexy combo. ---

I was under the impression Alpha androstenol was a testosterone metabolite secreted more by males than females… this is interesting though… ---

Anol is never an “Instant Friend Zone” molecule, at least not when paired with anone. It has only ever added to the attraction caused by anone. And even when worn on its own, it has attractive qualities. ---

Yeah A-Nol is definitely great paired with -none. I mean, just look at [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) which utilizes this combo! Added some new thoughts to my original post and bumping for others to see ---

Every pheromone has good points and not so good points. Androtics tweaks all of the “consumer products” to enhance the good and diminish the not so good. ---

I don’t have any concrete evidence, but I would guess that both instants are spiked with a smidge of TAF, too. just to amp up the sensitivity. ---

😕 For those of you more experienced with effects of Alpha Androstenol, what mcg is effective at getting a response? I’ve read on other posts that it is hard to use too much for those around you, but that it can make you irritable and less interactive with others at higher doses. What would be recommended for beneficial effects? ---

I like a couple 6 inch stripes to each forearm and one to the neck. Perfect match with a couple dabs of A314. ---
