I had ordered a bottle of ff21 ammo but never got to realize its full potential because the stench of ff21 really was too much and I needed a good 2-3 sprays to get results at my age (41).

But the day after the ammo usage after the stench wore off I got amazing hits from an older woman like I was a superstar. She was grabbing me, flirting with me, giggling. I felt I could get away with anything and it wasn’t even in a bar and she didn’t even have anything to drink. She was older about 35. It never happened before that and I can only credit the ammo.

My question is: I am willing to try another bottle of ammo but am VERY concerned about the smell and cologne agreeing with my allergies.

I have heard good things about akuto but nonetheless if I have to wear multiple sprays it may not be a good idea for my nose.

Unscented is way to expensive. I was thinking neroli scented which never bothers me but the projection is low so I would have to use a cologne cover with great projection and sillage.

At least I can pick a cologne that agrees with me (made of natural products). My choice in the winter 1 MILLION by Paco R. I already have it , it smells amazing, projection is a beast, and it doesn’t screw up my nose.

Do you have any input as to whether I am making the right decision by purchasing neroli ammo as opposed to akuto?

I am willing to give this ammo thing another whirl since I’ve heard so many good things about it.

Iv got ammo 2x in akuto and imo it is superior to ff21 both in smell and effectivness. Iv had a lot more hits with it but I cant tell you that you will definatley like it. If your going to use a cover scent get neroli at 6% because it is coverd easily by pretty much most colognes. I think it might be trickier to cover akuto because its quite distinctive.

How can it be more effective as it is the same product just a different scent? The phermones are identicial. Perhaps it just smells better and your self effects are producing better results (placebo)?

What does akuto smell like? And can it compete with 1 million ( 1 of the highest rated current colognes in the world made with 90% natural ingredients) ? Also is akuto heavily synthetic?

All I know is that akuto ammo works much better for ME whether it is placebo or a silage thing I don’t know maybe because it creates an aura effect rather then a trail the scent is much more compact around you meaning when people are in range the mones hit harder but that is just a guess. I don’t know whether akuto can compete with 1 million because I havnt tested them head to head, I personally don’t use cover scents because the scents AD use have been made with mones in mind and I dont want to potentially screw up diffusion by using one. [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) to me smells quite spicy, and masculine but to you it could smell like garbage. If your set on using a cover scent get neroli at 6%.

I wish I could be more help but its really a preference thing and you won’t know for sure what’s best for you until you test.

Iv just been getting more consistent and blatant hits with akuto, it is not definate that a different scent will change the effectiveness of a certain product but I was getting negative feedback from ff21 (someone told me I smelled like wet dog) so i took a gamble and decided to change scent, now I’m glad I did 🙂

COuld you describe some of your blatant hits and how they differed from ff21?

Nope its not placebo ( _not that placebo never occurs_) its diffusion. binding and sillage. Some scents diffuse better then others. Every scent has a different molecular weight and will diffuse off the body at different rates. Some scents are able to bind to the pheromone molecule better then others and some scents leave better vapor trails (sillage) then others which means they stay in the atmosphere longer.

This is why you will get different levels of reaction from the same [pheromone formula](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) carried in a different scent carrier. Lots of times you will see AD release the same formula in different scent packs because they are testing the ability and the effectiveness of the scent not just the formula itself. This is why its important when you report if you can give a estimated distance and environmental conditions.

You also have to consider how much people enjoy the scent. If you smell really good people tend to inhale that scent more without even being conscious of it and if a pheromone is carried in that scent they will be inhaling more of that at the same time.

…

Its hard to describe a scent at least for me.

**MHarris** said when he released it that \>\>\>\> “Akuto has a “trick”. It smells fresh from afar, and _dirty_ up close. I’m sure plenty of you will love it.”

I think he meant dirty as in sexual not as in you smell like BO. Many people have reported it smelling like sex. Its rather musky.

**Dancing Joker** described it as \>\>\> Akuto has a spicy, exotic scent that reminds me of licorice. Using one of my mixes that had a side effect of enhancing my sense of smell, I was able to detect a melon note as well.

* * *

I wasn’t fond of it at first. It smelled to strong for me and its not something I think a women would feel comfortable wearing but after testing it for a while with other people wearing it I changed my mind about liking it on a male. I have to agree its rather intoxicating (in a good way) and exotic.
I found my self saying to people Mmmm you smell great what is it ? Then they would tell me its the mones you gave me to test. It really surprised me.

I still love the original AMMO scent the best but unfortunately due to new regulations certain substances used as a scent have been banned. This happens every once in a while in the perfume industry. They decided Oak moss was not to be used in commercial scents as well as some other molecules and many perfume companies had to comply and change there product.

Here are more different comments on the scent from MHarris sorry about the lines I cant get rid of them.

> Akuto ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/)) is going to end up being real funky with a number of pheromones, btw. If you spray it on someone else, you’ll see (or smell, rather) what I mean ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))
>
> It’s like a distance based chameleon. It can smell quite different at a distance than upclose. This means it’ll keep some molecules close to the skin, while projecting others at a great distance.
>
> [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) – one person said it “smells like sex” up close. I personally love this one. I predict that this scent will be very polar. i.e., as many people will LOVE it as others HATE it
> My favorite is probably ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))[Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/), which is fresh from afar and “dirty” up close (thanks to the amber and some other “dark” notes that stay closer to the skin). ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))
>
> [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) is definitely not for everyone, though. It tends to elicit strong reactions. I expect up to half of the users here to hate it, with an equal number to love it. It’s not a very good “in between” fragrance.
>
> Thankfully for men, whether you like it or not, the bulk of women will like it on you. We made sure to test for that. Most of the notes are very agreeable to the majority of women’s noses.
>
> In fact, while I like smelling ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))[Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) myself, I like the reactions I get from others even better. Few people ever notice, or rather, _comment on_ what I’m wearing. They have made comments when I’ve worn ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/)) [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) (and to a lesser extent, the fragrance now used in ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))[Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/)). It’s different enough from most scents to “catch” people by the nose. ([Akuto - Alpha A314](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/))

Hope this helps

Another factor to consider is how well a scent works for your particular body chemistry. Just like not every [pheromone](https://a314.com/) mix is going to work well for everyone, not every scent is going to either.

Take the old “game” scent that Androtics used for quite a bit. I couldn’t stand that one even though so many other people loved it.

FF21 (at least I think it’s FF21) works great for me, and gets me a lot of compliments, but others don’t like it much.

The fact that Androtics has a few different scents to work with now should give you the ability to find something in the line up that works well for you.
