recently got [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/). a special woman in my life hated it saying it smells like BO. any advise? ---

She’s smelling the [pheromones](https://a314.com/). You can try to cover it by spraying another cologne over the Ammo after the Ammo has had a chance to dry down (after 15 minutes). ---

I just want to ask a question. I am a newbie and I am thinking of buying ammo. But what troubles me is that there is a chance that I will not like the smell of it (since I am not a great fan of cool water and “the game” scent is described as similar). I know that there is option to customize the fragnance and make it unscented or customize it with ammo smell(which as far as I know is the original ammo fragnance). Now my question is: Will the customizing of the ammo(making it unscented seems to be the best option so i can choose my own cologne to wear but I can risk taking the ammo smell as long as it’s different from Cool water) affect its action? ---

It’s the pheros as Robbie said. As for the unscented Ammo (please correct me if I’m wrong) phero wise no, it shouldn’t affect the effects of it. The only thing that I can think of that would change is well, obviously the scent. Some people like the scent of Ammo, some people don’t. Since you’ll be wearing your own cologne, that won’t be a problem. ---

If you take unscented, spray your cologne on top of it, it will help with diffusion. ---

The reason the pheromones have scents added is twofold. One being some pheromones smell bad. Things like neroli or the androtics designed cologne scents don’t just “cover” the bad smell but actually work to fool the nose into not detecting the bad smell. The other reason is “diffusion”. This means getting the pheromone molecules airborne in as consistent a way as possible to let others subconsciously detect where they are coming from. From reading the early posts by Mharris, it’s plain that diffusion is one of the biggest problems they faced. Even spraying cologne on top of [unscented pheromones](https://a314.com/product-category/stealth-unfragranced/) is not as effective as using the scents Androtics has carefully designed. Get a togo of regular product first…if you really hate the ammo or game cologne then instead of getting unscented get “light neroli”. It’s a light citrus floral and after a few minutes you probably won’t even notice it. Hope this helps. ---

Well I wouldn’t say it smells like BO but my woman really doesn’t like the scent either. I do but I really don’t wanna score with myself : ) I usually cover it up with a stronger cologne that I know she digs…then I get what I’m after.
