Hi, I recently received my first order. I bought AMMO World edition 30ml (regular strength) and also received a free shine Togo (Thanks Jacob!). Anyway, I tried using the ammo for three days. I used 2 sprays to the wrists, and spread a bit on my neck. After a few hours, the cologne scent fades and I’m left with a urine smell. It is not very pleasant at all, does anybody know why it smells like that? ---

I NEVER have that happen, frank;y when i use AMMO it smells sooo god, like fresh Irish Spring Soap. You might consider covering it up with a cologne. ---

Ive never had that happen with my ammo. It has a distinct smell after a while, but doesnt smell like urine or anything bad. ---

I too don’t normally have problems with [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) 1X breakdown to funky smells. I don’t sweat much, have little body hair and shower 2 or 3 times daily. Realize the mones in Ammo are intermingling with your natural mones, sweat and skin bacteria. If you’re prone to sweating, have an ample natural mone output or are on the hairy side, you can make some major stink. Why? Skin bacteria eventually breakdown the androstenol in Ammo to androstenone, and androstenone smells like piss and BO. So the androstenone already in Ammo, bacterially converted androstenone and your natural androstenone can combine into major piss/BO funk. It’s a problem mainly for sweaty dudes on dance floors but some guys just have the wrong body chemistry for skin apps. There is a possible workaround: avoid skin apps. Instead, apply to clothing. Clothing apps work well but are less intense as there is less merging with your natural mones. If you have a good head of hair, you can also apply to hair. It’s one of my fav app areas and it intermingles more with your natural chemistry more than clothing apps. However it is far less prone to sweat and bacteria action than skin apps. Sorta the best of both worlds. The problem is many guys have buzz cuts and a sweaty scalp is just as prone to bacterial conversion as bare skin. Finally, you do realize mones smell like the body fluids they’re derived from, right? Mones come from urine, sperm, vaginal fluids, butt juice, sweat, sativa, etc. So piss, buttcheese, pits and pussy stink are par for the course. We merely cover with cologne to mask, but mones by nature stink like body fluids. ---

I haven’t tried [World Edition](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/world-edition/) Ammo yet, but having used lots of other stuff I can say it’s the androstenone you’re picking up on. Everyone seems to want “scentless”, but some pheromones like anone are anything but. That’s why they have cover scents here, to mask the locker room scent of the smellier pheromones like androstenone, androstadienone, etc. Many other pheromones don’t smell unpleasant, but all the ones involved directly in sexual response seem to. ---

[Pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) work amazing well in the hair, almost too well, so use sparingly! If you use 'em on your clothes, be sure to Oxiclean 'em (or the equivalent) afterwards to avoid pheromone buildup. Clothing fibers seem to love hanging onto pheromones. Those newer sodium percarbonate based cleaners seem to be the only ones that completely remove pheromones w/o messing your clothing up (excess fading, etc.). Normal only bleach works well, too, if you’re cleaning only whites. Dry cleaning works, too. That’s a solvent based cleaning process, and solvents definitely carry away pheromones. ---

I guess it gives you a good excuse to be another stinky unshowered male college student. Plenty in my classes with BO, dirt under nails and butt breath. Here in Honolulu we have an extremely clean and fresh water source (volcano rock filtered mountain water) and they no not allow the the use of chlorine and fluorine in the city water supply. I hate chlorine in water but only have to put up with it when I travel. Some of the island military bases do use per federal regulations. ---

I’m safing my money for a filter in my douche head/water source. Also going to switch to more natural shampoo’s etc(you have no clue how much crap is in shampoo’s 😃). And aslong as it can’t hurt. why not invest a little more 😉 But your one of the lucky few, come build a vulcano for me 😃 ---

I tried wearing it on my clothes, I can still smell the urine scent after a while. I’m clean, and I’m not sweating at all (i’m just sitting inside). The scent isn’t overwhelming, I have to put my nose up to the spot where I sprayed it to smell it, but occasionally catch a whif of it. Is it possible that I am just more sensitive to the smell than others? ---

Yes, possibly. Others can smell the pheromones in these products when others can’t. For example some say IS and IO stink, that IO smells of feet but all I can smell is the Neroli scent. So it all depends. ---

It’s basically like worrying if somebody can smell your asshole. Only a problem they put their nose on or very near it (assuming you shower well of course). There are a surprising amount of guys that smell like poop from 3 or 4 feet out I figured they don’t wipe. ---

The girls at work comment that the new ammo smells like "old lady " in comparison the old ammo smell always drew compliments. I know it,s all subjective ,but it seems the cologne is the stink not the phero. ---
