Coat for the winter
I had read a few posts in a thread about “Suiting up”, that intrigued me. As one of my first posts here in this thread discussed dressing fro success, I wanted to follow up after experiencing a similar phenomenon with my new coat. I have always had what I thought were good coats. When purchasing them I would pick something expensive, and sporty. Normally my winter outerwear would consist of either an outdoorsy coat or a Nike coat. That would cover any situation, and keep me warm. This year I went with something new and different. I chose to get an overcoat made of wool. A charcoal grey. At first I got it because I thought it looked nice and could wear it when I dressed up. However, since I first wore it out, I have worn it almost every time I have gone outside of my home. Wearing it forces me to be more congruent with the A314 vibe, than anything other than an actual suit. I did get mine custom tailored to fit me best, so not only do I look great, I feel great as well. I have had a little bit of a sore back, because how I have been standing taller when wearing it. LOL. I have gotten many compliments on how great it looks. If it is paired with a button up shirt, it almost looks like I am wearing a suit. I have had a couple people make that mistake! As of now I am not wearing a scarf with it. I have noticed that many men do, but I have never worn a scarf and do not feel that it is manly to do so. I am sure it is not really an issue, but its how I feel! From strangers I get even more respect than normal, people in the service industry go even further out of their way to serve me than with just A314. At the store, other customers defer to me, move out of my way and apologize. Women seem to stare more, smile more, and are very friendly.
I just wanted to post this because it is a lower cost alternative to look very classy even when you are not exactly suiting up. It is what the A314 man would wear

Self Effects: I still love the effects of this Revision! This time however, I did not have the same calmness that I normally get from it. I snapped at my wife several times, due to aggravation I was feeling at her. Other than these few moments, I felt very in control of the situation for the rest of the day.
Effects on others: After snapping at my wife, she seemed to take my actions more personal than if I normally snap at her. I could tell what I said, even though it was not harsh, hurt her feelings. She was not feeling that great, and we were going to visit some family I had not seen in almost 3 years. She was saying that she only wanted to stay for an hour and leave. I did not want to put a timeframe on the visit, especially such a short one. I told her so. After she was upset, she was then angry about it.
I was the spotlight at the event. There was only 4 people there, all of them were wanting to know what I was doing and were very intent on me and my satisfaction. I got lots of compliments. Everything I said was the right answer. There was not any awkwardness about not visiting for a few years. Even though they were older than me, they respected my opinion about things and were sharing personal feelings about their kids as if I was just as old and wizened as they were. One of the men, my uncle, is a psychologist. He followed me around the whole time we were there, wanting to chat. Normally in the past we would say hello, make some small talk and that would be it until the next time we saw each other. It was as if the whole situation has changed completely! We ended up staying two and a half hours. My wife ended up being happy with the time we spent. So it worked out nicely.
Overall: It was nice being able to see how the perception of others is changed due to A314. It helped me remember how powerful it really is, and how great it works!
Dude! Haven’t you ever watched the old WWII movies of the Bomber pilots? They always wore scarfs and were more man in their little pinky than any of us will ever be. Those guys faced death every day and still did it. Scarfs are for the real man.
As a mans man myself I must concur. You know who else wear’s scarfs? John Wayne and Clint Eastwood… yea… that’s right.
While I agree with you two about who wore scarves in the past, they wore them in a manly purpose. Now a days men who wear them do not look all that manly. Google ‘men scarf pics’ almost all of the pics that show just do not appeal as “manly” to me. They are the metrosexual wussies that could hardly fight their way outta paper bag! Of course there is always the exception to the rule. It always comes down to your own perception I guess, however unless I can find a scarf that is manly to me, I will not be wearing one.
I think a scarf, is fine for an overcoat when you’re wearing a suit.

Kinda like that. It gets cold up here and you look less manly when you can’t help but shiver in 20 degree weather. A nice contemporary, simple scarf is fine, none of those too metro ones either.

I can understand why some guys might think themselves metrosexual or ‘weak’ in a scarf… I guess.
But I rock some scarfs that aren’t ‘manly’ looking per se and if you just have the confidence to carry yourself like ‘da boss’ than you’re not going to look like that at all… All people will see is that alpha guy over there… wearing a scarf or not. And it’s so damn cold up here I have to wear one anyways lol… Kind of how guys get away wearing pink shirts or whatever without appearing ‘gay’
I have no problem with the pink shirts. I have a button up that is blue with pink pin stripes. I love that shirt! I guess I am just tired of the way men are as a whole, are pictured these days. Have you seen Modern Family? I love that show. Its one of the few TV programs I watch anymore. It has 3 men that it portrays as family men in America. Now, I do not know if you are a family man or not, but lets say you are. Which one would you be? The gay one. The older generation that is a little gruff and doesn’t quite get it anymore. Or the younger father that is pretty much a wuss and is a caricature of what seems to be a large portion of the current generation of “Men” in the United States. People relate to those people on the show. It what makes it so funny and popular. Even though I find the show very humorous, it also disgusts me that Men as a culture have degraded so far in such a short time. I get the whole equality thing, but damn, Men are Men. Some of us need to stand up and truly be one. I am not saying we should be beer swiggin’ hillbillies either. A man can dress fashionable and while remaining strong and retaining the leadership role that is important in a family environment. Where are the John Waynes and Clint Eastwoods of the present day?
Also as an after thought, Two and a Half Men is the same, just missing the gay person.

I just found out the midget is actually a kid and not a half man as I suspected. Which also explains why he doesn’t have multiple women in his life yet. Sorry my mistake!

Self Effects: I LOVE the initial phero buzz I get from P83! I get insanely happy, and really really love how I am able to emotionally respond to music so well! Its great to spray on before getting into the SUV or while in the SUV. I have a great stereo system in there that is like a club P83 works great to get myself into a happy excited state of consciousness. I really like the combo between A314 SBE and P83. It just adds some extra sparkle and good vibes all around. I have a stronger confident tone and others respond to me positively.
Effects on Others: After application, I went to the clubhouse. There was a package left for me there. There was also a new lady behind the desk. I have never met her. Jesus, she would not let me leave. She wanted to talk on and on. It was like we had everything in common. Even our kids names! My kids do not have common names. So it was sort of a shock, and I wonder if it is actually true. All I can say is that I needed a crowbar to remove myself from the room. If I was single, it would have been one of those crazy phero reports, but I am married so I had to some what rudely excuse myself from the situation.
Yesterday same mix, my Mother in Law came over to see us, about 40 seconds into the conversation she stops and in a rather excited voice said “OMG you smell yummy. I love your smell. That is the best scent I have ever smelled on a man! If I met another man wearing that he’d be mine right then!” After a rather awkward no response from me, I just continued on like she did not say anything. LOL I was not sure what to say.
I get hits like this all day long with this mix. Most not that blatant though
