I saw a post stating that androstenol converts to androstenone via enzymes. I was curiouse about this because of effects I saw when using androstenol for the first time last night.

I found this info on a seperate forum. It explains what actualy happens. I hope this helps somebody.

BTW if anybody finds out or knows a time frame that it converts over it would nice to know.

Hi.

The product you used last night (Lure) displayed almost text-book properties of straight androstenone, not converted androstenol. It was so text book, in fact, it was uncanny.

It’s also very rare that properly treated androstenol converts to any significant degree. There’s very little conversion with [Instant Openness](https://a314.com/product/instant-openness/), for instance, unless you spray it in area rich with corneyform bacteria (such as an armpit).

interesting…thanks

I did buy some cheap stuff out of curiosity, but it does say alpha androstenol on the bottle as it’s only phermone ingredient. Did it “go bad”?

I don’t think it went bad. It wouldn’t be the first time a [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/) went out mislabeled. Some of these companies play rather fast and loose with the rules. At least it appears to contain actual androstenone. You really did get textbook androstenone type reactions. Seriously. I’m sure someone else will chime in on this.

Heck, you know, it might not even be intentional mislabeling, like it is with Pherlure. Sometimes mistakes happen. I just bought a case of Sunkist Soda where the cans are somehow filled with it with the 7up flavor package. I called the number on the side, gave them the lot #, and they said it was a bad batch. Honest mistake. (and hey, I have orange colored 7up in a Sunkist Can… not what I wanted, but kind of a fun thing to have!)

That makes sence. I thought the reaction weren’t quite what they were supposed to be, and I do agree that it seems to be androstenone from what i’ve read.

Hell it was 15 bucks at a porn shop…lol
Next time I won’t transfer it from my wrists to neck. Maybe I won’t get so ramped up.
