I would think temperature may influence diffusion off your body more than application from the bottle, with the exception of the oil-based products that seem to run slower in the cold (one source of info: Gegogi, who lives in Hawaii, for info on warm environments).

I can’t see any difference if you do “dabs,” and if there is any real difference in the sprays I would think it would be so minimal as to not affect the overall outcome that much (in terms of application dosage).

Most [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) I know of are going to be either oil or alcohol based so I wouldn’t think freezing would be a problem. Off hand I can only think of Perception (not an Androtics product) as being water-based.

My opinions.

For desktop or bureau top … the Container Store has [The Vertical Lipstick and Pencil Cube, 12.99](http://www.containerstore.com/browse/Product.jhtml?searchId=12041712&itemIndex=2&CATID=71792&PRODID=60678) which holds 9 to-go vials.

A little less stylish but pragmatic if you mix-a-lot is Carolina Scientific’s [Economy Test Tube Rack, 7.99](http://www.carolina.com/product/economy+plastic+test+tube+rack%2C+13+mm%2C+for+90+tubes.do?keyword=test+tube+rack&sortby=bestMatches) which holds 40 x (up to) 20mm diameter tubes. The Androtics tubes, by my measure, are just about 16mm diameter .. so I’d size up to avoid a tight squeeze.

The best portable case I’ve found holds only to-go vials; I think it was made for lipsticks. It’s a leather “book” with a front and back cover and one “page”. The covers and the page are about 6" square, fairly sturdy/thick leather. A zipper surrounds the whole “book”.

Open to the inside front cover and “page 1” and you’ll see two rows of fabric elastic banding stitched to the leather from side to side. The stitching let’s you stuff one to-go vial between the elastic band and the leather “back”. The elastic is ~really~ tight and very secure.

There are two sets of stitches at the seam between the ‘page’ and the front cover. Each row holds a dozen vials, so a total of 12 on the IFC, 12 on page 1, 12 on page 2, and 12 on the IBC. I’ve never needed to carry 48 to-go bottles of pheros, and I use this only when taking a trip.

I keep two or three to-go bottles, and sometimes a “fine art” atomizer in my front pocket. It’s not as secure as I’d like – I’ve lost a to-go now and then, pulling a money clip from my pocket and ejecting a vial at the same time, I guess.

I don’t carry the 30ml cobalt bottles around except in unusual situations. I’d rather decant into a to-go spray vial. 48 x 8ml spray vials cost about $20-25 from a number of internet vendors. (Google “bottles vials” and ignore the medical sites.)

Androtics might … if you ask very, very nicely, be willing to sell packs of the empty to-go bottles that they use. Jasmin? SteveO? Tisha?

For portable use I’ve also been looking at some of the cell phone and digital camera cases. Some have belt clips or straps. So far I haven’t had a great deal of luck as most of the cell phone cases are open around the sides. I did use a zippered camera case type thing at a convention last year that also served as my “emergency candy/snacks stash.”

Thinking of cellphone cases and carriers, that reminded me of a thing I used to have.
It was a cellphone holster, very nice item.
It had a few of those pen slots, they would hold the to go spray bottles.
It’s stealth if you want it to be, but sometimes you just want to show off a bit when picking up your cellphone.

I work in a cellphone store, we dont sell much that would be good for this situation. I do like those acrylic holders, but they seem like they would break easily, especially in the cold. The test tube holders are really neat though…I might get some and see if i can rig it into my glove compartment…

As far as getting to-go bottles from Androtics…Keep in mind they have to order them from a little mini bottle/atomizer manufacturer, so they may not have large quantities on hand that they can afford to sell empty. Definatly worth a shot though 🙂 Thanks for all the great info everyone!
