Let’s say that I spray on my 'mones and cover with a perfume that lasts for only 3 hours. I understand that the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) are going to have a harder time traveling without some scent to carry it. After the 3 hours (when the cologne has worn off), would it make sense to just add some more perfume to “revive” any pheros left on the skin? Would that dilute them?

Or would it be better to just reapply both pheros and perfume after a perfume has died down?

I guess an underlying question would be: Do the pheros (the actual amount on the skin) last only as long as its carrier scent?

Thanks

No not necessarily. The scent could be gone and the pheromones still be there . I find the alcohol based products last anywhere from 3 to 6 hours in effectiveness. 1 to 3 hours for the most obvious reaction and from 3 to 6 its grows more subtle.

Oil based products are closers to 12 hours but the hits are more subtle because they diffuse slowly due to the oil weighing down the molecules.

I know this is off topic but what about pheromones in a water base. Can it subsist on such a medium or is their a reason their only in alcohol/water like lack of effectiveness or somehow discombobulation of the mones themselves.

Alcohol is used for a few reasons. It helps avoid contamination from bacteria. It evaporates from the skin quickly leaving just the scent and mone molecules behind. It gives the product longer shelf life. If you mixed with water they would probably only be good for a week or two before break down would occur just like perfume waters. Alcohol is more soluble when mixing dry mones as well. Commercially it just makes sense.

Tisha do you know why unscented products cost so much more than scented?

Although directed to Tisha I’ll try and post a reason from memory, so if I remember correctly it’s because a lot of new users had trouble trying to get good results with unscented products since the [pheromone molecules](https://pheromonelabs.com/) are heavy and without the help of a scent package maximum diffusion won’t be/wasn’t being achieved. So no maximum diffusion equals a lot of unhappy people getting no results so that’s the reason why if I’m not mistaken. And that’s why Androtics raised the price for unscented, because it’s something newer users will have trouble with.

This problem can easily be solved though by simply just spraying on your own cologne with decent silage on top of the pheromone application points, then the pheromones will just ride off your own cologne scent trail.

There is a few reasons really…

Because they mix in batches with a scent and unscented is a custom addition even though your not adding anything. It takes time and other resources for them to go back and remix dry mones to create unscented.

For pheromones to work you need to bind them to a scent which then diffuses off the body into the air. The binding agents and fixatives are in the scent package. The scent is what carriers the pheromone. Now it is possible to mix unscented mones in another scent and achieve some degree of binding but if you dont know what your doing its not always effective resulting in complaints and returns.

The reason they use neroli is because it blends with just about any scent. So it can be used both on its own or be covered with another scent and blend well if you choose to. Most high end colognes use neroli in there mixes for this reason.

If the scent bothers you then I suggest getting the light neroli option so you have the binders with less scent.

Harris explains a little on this subject here \>\>\>\>\>\>\>\>\>\>

> Not really. Remember, our light scent package is not merely designed as a fragrance cover. It is designed in a number of ways to enhance the release of the [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/), using the same technology utilized in the best colognes and parfums. Basically, the fixatives and highly diffusive molecules are found in the scent package, which then bind to pheromones and regulate the rate and path of dispersion. Increase the pheromones, and all you’re going to do is OD more rapidly. The increased heat makes…
