# Antiperspirants may make you smell worse..

I find this to be true. The same can actually be said for soaps, bodywashes and the like. People who don’t use them (assuming they are eating a generally healthy diet and are active) actually have no bad body odor at all and have no need to use any products to cover up their smell.

They block toxins from leaving the body. Ick.  
I usually wear a Natural volcanic minerals deodorant and it works fine. People usually rely more on antipersperant here because of the very high humidity, and bacteria.

Inadequate groin or axillary hygiene may result in fulminant staph infection.

It’s called carbunculosis. Don’t search it out. It’s more critical in tropical climes.
