Hey guys, Ive been using mones with great success for just over two years now. Recently ran out of my 1x ammo purchased in late 2009, which smelled very nice… so this time I went with the 2x version, but unfortunately the new version stinks and while still effective , had few people comment i smell like laundry detergent.. Any tips on how to cover up the smell , besides the obvious spraying a crapload of perfume over the top. Other mones i have p74,p81,p83,IO, IS 2x, TUTH, IJ, IH Thanks in advance ---

That one was great. FF21 isn’t that bad either, but people think it smells like Irish Spring… I bet guys that use mones could RECOGNIZE that smell.. ---

The neroli fragranced pheros do go a little way to masking it, but I find the best solution is cologne. I normally wear Armani Code over the top of [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/), and I find the two fragrances complement each other pretty well (the warm tones of the Code with the sharp cut of the Ammo). I imagine something like the dark Hugo Boss would also work. ---

I got to admit that FF21 which is supposed to smell like Irish spring stinks to high heaven LOL Of course I dont like Irish spring either and it smells absolutely nothing like Green Irish Tweed. Get it in either neroli and cover with your own stuff or [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/). Akuto is great. They really should have a description in the store of the scent choices for this one. Tisha ---

wats the regular togo ammo scent? it is so gooooooooooooood! I’d wear it just for the scent. ---

Not a bad idea. Ammo is designed to work well with specific diffusions. I’ve gotten A LOT of compliments on the smell. “You smell so fresh!” But I LOVE Akuto. They actually go pretty well together. ---

I dont understand how you get [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) scented AMMO though… I looked for it in the AD store but couldnt find it anywhere… Anyone care to enlighten me? 😃 Thanks ---

Keep in mind when you do a customization you have to buy both the AMMO and the custom scent so they both have to be in your cart at check out. Its something like $15 bucks more but if you really dont like the standard scent it gives you a option. Some people ask why is it more… Because the batches are pre-made with the default concentrations and strengths. This is why you get your products so quickly. When you customize or buy certain advanced products they have to take time to whip up a special batch. More time + More work = more money. Tisha ---

I tried covering my FF21 stink by applying only 1 spray of it and then covering with 1 Million cologne seeing it is strong stuff (the 1 Million). Turns out I can’t smell ammo but the mind clutter from either the chemicals in ammo or the scent simply doesn’t make it worth wearing for me. I get much better response with tuth; then again I’m over 35 and a spray or 2 usually doesn’t cause OD. I also like the fact that my shine, a314a, and tuth are all neroli scented. I cover with 1 million and love it! dsouza ---

The grapefruit is fantastic here and pairs well with any mone or mix. It doesn’t blend well with some commercial colognes if you plan to use something with it but on its own its fresh unobtrusive and just smells yummy. Its diffusiveness is about equal to neroli, maybe slightly lower but it makes up for it because people just inhale it in more. I find it is a great cover for the stinky smell of mones, you can barely smell even the big stinkers under the grapefruit. Its also a very attractive scent that makes people think of exuberance, vibrancy and vitality. Frankly, because its not gender specific, I think its one of AD’s best scents for both men and women. If you havent tried it get Ishine in it… Fabulous. Tisha ---

I love Ammo and FF21, and I do have it in [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) as well. The FF21 so far has gotten the best results by far when it comes to compliments about the scent. Now there has been a couple of younger ladies in the 17-19 range that have commented negatively, but its only been a few. But the ladies in my age range, late 20’s to mid 30’s love it and react at times a bit too enthusiastically, but I’m not gonna complain.
