forgive this probable repeat, but is there any way to tell when a girl (or guy) is using 'mones?

If so, how?

The little blue bottles are a good clue.

lol this is interesting. I’m friends with this girl who I don’t want to reveal her name so I’ll just refer to her as musky girl. Musky girl is reasonably attractive but she seems to get hundreds fo guys to fall in love with her everywhere she goes. If you saw a picture of her or saw her from a distance you wouldn’t find her as anywhere near as attractive as when you get close to her. She has a sweet musky kind of smell, it’s not pleasent or unpleasent. It’s quite mild but does linger a little. Anyway, she is a true heartbreaker, after just a week of knowing her guys have wrote her poems said things like “we have such a good connection” etc. She isn’t the manipulative type she just has that something about her that you can’t put your finger on and I’ve watched many a guy fall for her hard. This is all a bit off topic because I don’t think she uses [synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) but could musky girls power over most males be her natural pheromones?

Nope there really is no way to know unless you see the bottle or she tells you.

Send her to androtics so we can wear a copy of that!

I think that you all are forgetting that pretty much all mammals produce [pheromones](https://a314.com/) naturally. Depending on one’s fitness level, mental health, and diet, one’s natural pherosig can be very effective.

I’ve heard fit people give off more pheromones but I’ve never heard of mental health and diet affecting it.. is that true?

I forget, which it is, Clarke’s Law? Asimov’s Law? Anyway, it goes “When an expert says something is possible, it almost certainly is, but when they say it’s not, they’re almost certainly wrong.”

Mental health? Mebbe not, but _mental state_, absolutely will have f/x! This is probably wrapped up with results espoused in the whole “The Secret” phenomenon (not a plug, I’m just familiar via my gf’s constant watching of the dvd), but the key here is that mental state has profound & subtle f/x on your physical state, so yes, it will effect the production of natural pheromones. Just as depression will lead to more frequent illnesses, as your mental depression cripples your immune response, so will being in a positive frame of mind affect your natural production of pheros. This is why it is often difficult to detect real results from synthetic phero use vs. placebo f/x. Androtics has demonstrated their products have f/x beyond what would be expected from mere placebo effect, which is significant.

Well he didnt say mental state and I did say they do make pheromones But there mental health dosnt control the amount of pheromones you make.

The amount of pheromones you make controls your mental health. Tisha’s law 😉

I suspect there is, or at least detecting synthetics/putatives and levels of natural pheromones. But I don’t think it will be cheap. Some sort of calibrated portable sniffing gas chromatograph?

Of course I can just see someone walking into a pub with one and trying to use it! ROFL!

Haha, I can see Jedi\_Knights walking up to some guy surrounded by attractive girls in a bar with a big, complicated looking device and either exposing the guy’s use of pheros and walking off with the crowd of girls (who don’t know about jedi\_knight’s own pheros.)

My hubby thinks pheromones is a crock of shit.. to put it mildly..but he has his own specific scent that drives me wild.. I know he uses no [synthetic pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), its simply him.. and what ever it is…omg…i cant keep my hands off him at night…or my body…😉

I, also, think there will be a way to measure pheros emitted and to identify the molecules, and perhaps whether natural or synthesized.

Some day. (Who’d have expected a cost-effective portable alcohol breath analyzer?)

But simple curiosity won’t drive that development. So ‘some day’ might be a long way off if you’re hoping for something cheap and portable like the breathalizer.

Until then, the nose knows.

I’d definitely hold “uses pheromones” as my working hypothesis for musky girl.

perhaps not a [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/), but …

> That strong odor turned raters off even with MHC-dissimilar men may be due to the fact odor is a useful indicator of disease. From diabetes to viral infection to schizophrenia, unusually sweet or strong body odors are a warning cue that ancestral females in search of good genes for their offspring may have been designed to heed. (In the case of schizophrenia, the issue is confounded—while some schizophrenics do actually have an unusually sweet smell, many suffer from delusions of foul smells emanating from their bodies.)
