I bought this a while ago, and the scent is just overwhelmingly masculine. They sell it “to attract men”, but frankly from what I’ve read about Oud and after smelling this myself, I think it’s unisex with a strong lean toward “for attracting women”.

If anyone would like to try this, I can send you a dram vial of it. I’m not going to use it, and I’d rather it didn’t go to waste.

The pheromone in this is something they call SB-74. According to the website, it’s a plant-based pheromone. I use their unscented Calypso’s Oil (which has the SB-74) as a body moisturizer. On days that I use nothing else, I have seen [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)-like reactions.

Oh, you can definitely have some of it! I also have the same perfume in their ylang ylang/nutmeg scent, which is infinitely better imo. I can throw some of that in, as well.

I did not try the oud out anywhere, to be honest. I tested it at home to see how the scent would meld with my body chemistry, because spicy, heady scents tend to end up smelling sour or even beer-like on me after a while. It was way too overwhelming for me to feel comfortable with in public, so I never tested it.

The ylang ylang/nutmeg, however, was an absolute hit. One of my TGs loves it. The first time he smelled it, he inhaled deeply and said “aaaahhhhhhhhh, that’s niiiiiiice!”

I definitely get [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/)-like hits from SB’s SB-74. I use it pretty regularly with the Calypso’s Oil. The perfume is much more concentrated. And SB is a great company. I use quite a few of their skin products and I’m extremely happy with the quality and their customer service.

I’d love to try it. Maybe I have some things you might like to try as well, I’ll have to look.

Yes, definitely!! I love to try things!! I just need to be home long enough to go through and see what I might have that you might like also.

I could send you a bit of my Philosophy Falling in Love [pheromone product](https://a314.com/shop/), which I think they don’t even sell any more, if I can find and get it into a little container that will not allow it to leak out or evaporate.

I also have a perfume I absolutely love, and get many compliments on called “Sweet Oriental Dream” by Montale, and also Caron’s “En Avion” (a complex and fascinating fragrance that changes as it evolves), and some other stuff too, I have to go look. Also Thierry Mugler’s original “Angel”, which many women don’t like because it starts out a bit aggressively, but once its settled its absolutely scrumptious (and man-magnet also 😉)

You guys who have expressed interest, I haven’t forgotten about you. I’m just sort of overwhelmed with life, the universe, and everything right now. I’ll be back shortly. ☹

Its okay. I totally understand. Me too actually. Though I do find this forum to sometimes be a nice (albeit brief) respite from all the other bs. How is it going with your supervisor thing, btw?

Not any better, not any worse. Actually, worse, but just in that it’s damn frustrating and I don’t see any respite on the horizon.

Just keep doing good work and don’t give them anything to complain about. Its not like they can prove anything anyway.

And, if there is a 50/50 chance of something happening or not happening, whatever you feel or believe can actually sway that. For example, if there is exactly a 50/50 chance of a horse winning a race, if more people truly believe that one will win, over the other, the energy of that will put the odds in that horse’s favor. Does that make sense? I know it sounds wierd, but its true.

I believe in that sort of concept too… it’s just that sometimes it’s difficult to believe in the good.
