hey there,

Just like my title says… are phero’s really THAT fragile? What would diminish their effectiveness? Keeping them in my pocket all night? Keeping them in my glove box in the car? Is there a certain temperature?

I’ve worked with some fragile stuff before… i can’t swallow pills _laugh now…_ ok are you done? good…

I learned how to dissolve a pill i needed (if it could be) and suspend it in an alcohol base - and then take it in liquid form. Some times in bigger batches it would crash… can phero’s crash?

I’m sure [pheromones](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) can be denatured by intense heat, and may even have a certain pH range within which they may function. They are chemical substances that may react with each other and have components break off when they get too excited by intense heat. I would not keep them in a glovebox.

That being said, I made a recent post where I expressed my worries about touching the dropper on an A314 bottle–I was worried that salts and dead skin and whatever else was on my fingertip would get pulled back into the bottle when I touched the dropper.

Consensus was that _that_ would not destroy the pheromones.

So it seems they have a reasonable level of resilience.

I’m interested now though, about whether they _do_ have an optimum pH range. Will a person who sweats a lot, and has a lot of salt on his skin (thereby a slightly more acidic dermal layer) have problems using pheros?

Bacteria which is more of a problem with oil products can destroy them.

Intense heat can destroy them, Dont leave them in the car but your pocket is fine.

Prolonged exposure to sun light can destroy them.

Relative to what? If you mean thermonuclear reactions and volcanic eruptions, yeah, keep ‘em away. Nevertheless, anything your armpit or crotch can survive and still be stinky, yo’ bottle ‘o pheromones be jamin’. After all, pheromones are merely synthetic versions of stinky human fluids.

I’d say a bottle 'o pheromones can survive in a car parked in the blazing summer sun for about as long as you can…

The biggest problem I have with sweat is that it washes the stuff away. In my case, I have to wear latex gloves and these plastic lined paper sleeves on my arms at work, because I deal with material that can be damaged by skin oils. The sleeves have elastic bands on each end, which creates a near airtight seal around my arm. The effect is like a self contained sauna, and I sweat off whatever pheros I apply to my arms within a couple of hours.

Regarding heat, you’ll want to avoid leaving your stuff in the car on hot sunny days, unless it’s in the glovebox. Carrying a couple of to-go bottles in your pocket shouldn’t be a problem.

I actually had my whole stash of pheros in a car this past 4th for several days & in intense FL heat. I was nervous about them but they weren’t damaged at all. I still get reactions from the ones that were in there.

I’m not saying that’s okay to do. I’m just saying that if it ever happens to you don’t write them off. Try em out & make sure

thanks for the replies - i too have to cover up at work except i have to wear PPE (personel protective equipment) - latex gloves, mask, plastic gowns… i’m like a walking furnace at work! Pheromones don’t mix well with my job… but afterwards 🙂 it’s play time.
