> Do you guys ever think of pheromones as manipulative? You are trying to get people to act or feel a certain way by using a scent?

Manipulative? You say that like it’s a bad thing. Some of the most successful people in history have mastered the art of manipulation. Good luck getting ahead in life without being manipulative. It’s social engineering, life is what YOU make it and the people around you will respond accordingly. Being the nice guy won’t get you far because more people will mistake your kindness for weakness than will give as they receive…

Acting like a nice guy gas gotten me far. I think a lot of guys mistake being a wimp or a doormat with being a nice guy. They are not the same thing. Nice guys have social grace and are considerate but are confident in standing their ground. Doormats need to grow a pair and learn to backup their choices with firm substance and action. I’ve seen a lot of younger guys trying to act like they have a pair by being a cocky, aggressive and self-serving ass. They can push around the weak but results are poor nobody is going to like them.

I’m not talking about your hobbies here (thats a whole different topic my friend) Im talking about (Avalialbe single) women wearing a crap of load of make up, overdressing themselves and presenting themselves to be desiarable (Thus achieving influence over men) and (Single, avaliable) men buying nice sports cars, dressing in a tailored suits to be disirable(respected, social factors) . Its a whole different mentality and this was my argument for phermones. In married life its different, since the goal has been complete, you got each other, now you can start “hunting and gathering” (Or whatever you want to call it). Anyway I feel that you are arguing with me just for the sake of an argument, so I shall not entertain this discuss any further as this has gone way of topic. Good day.

The following isn’t a personal attack to you, I’m just going to base my responses on each point you’ve said.

Women dress themselves in a fashion to show off their best assets. There have been numerous studies done on the science behind sex and sexual attractions. During human evolution, sexual signals were from non-verbal form of communication (pheromone, body language). This is present in animals as well. Primate females have certain signs that show the males that they are in heat. Same with domesticated animals like dogs and cats. The difference is that as humans evolved, overt signs of sexual desires were stifled by society. **The natural ability to show our sexual desires (in non-verbal form) were suppressed.** Point being, men and women can’t walk around anymore and show their sexual desires in public because it is not accepted, **CLOTHING BECAME AN INTEGRAL PART OF SOCIETY.** Women adapted in a way to use clothing as a non-verbal response to what they cannot show that is publicly acceptable. Males chose mates based on looks back then as well. Large mammary glands, wide hips, etc. Those were what was attractive back then, heck they still are today but it also served a purpose. The likely hood of a man’s offspring to be healthy and taken care of were directly proportional to the ratio of the woman’s hips and the size of her mammary glands. This was part of human evolution. Since humans evolved, we have just moved onto modern things of non-verbal communication.

As for men, we have to buy status nowadays because there are too many factors involved for women. Sure can some of those things be overly done, and come some of the men who do it be jerks and would leave a woman, yes. However, back to basic human needs and wants, women only have a specific number of eggs to have fertilized, she will want the best man who can provide for her and her offspring. What did men do back then to show that? They hunted, gathered, fished, built shelters, and protected their family. For the most part, we don’t do any of these things out of necessity. There are now other factors in determining success, since money comes into the picture, it determines if a man would be suitable. You don’t necessarily have to have a sports car for a woman to like you, an Armani suit, an expensive watch. Having a $150 tailored suit will look a lot nicer than $500 of the rack when the person wearing it doesn’t have his shit together.

Point being that pheromones can’t make women do something they don’t want. Don’t put it on that category.

You’re viewing human activity in a narrow simplistic manner. It ain’t that black 'n white. Sure there are some idiots that do exactly what you say. Hip-hop culture certainly celebrates such an image. But life is not only about getting laid and impressing people. Some people just like nice things and to look good. I do! Damn, people have passions outside of the urge to pair and mate. And nice clothing and cars are certainly at the top of the list! I know my GF bought a lot more makeup, jewelry and clothing after we got married, probably because she had more money than when she was single. Having “achieved” the goal of marriage had nothing to do with her love of fine apparel, nor did marriage diminish it.

Incidentally, marriage isn’t a goal completed–its a merely a bump in the road.

I’m pretty new to the game but I’m very secretive about it. I want to have the edge and I don’t want others knowing how I got it or how to even the playing field. I may tell one of my closest friends about it but I would make him keep it a secret too.

In my opinion telling people about your mones would be like giving away the ending of a movie/book, or explaining how a magic trick is done. I wear A314 for professional reasons, I really don’t know how it’d go over if I told my coworkers and manager that part of the reason for the boost in respect I’ve gotten over the past several months is because I’m wearing a product designed to trigger an instinctive recognition of me as an Alpha Male.

I share the info with online friends in other states hoping they’ll buy and score me some reward points, but locally the only other person that knows is my bro since I want to see him do well with business and women as much as I do for myself.

> Everybody wants attention, no one spend hours in at the beautitian or a the shopping mall to impress themselves. If women did not want or like attention they would not go through what they go through to impress “themselves” (Some of those procedures are damn painful) (if you need all that to just impress yourself its a mental condition). Just like men would not buy expensive sports cars and throw money away to impress themselves. Everyone wether they admit it or not craves attention, or needs it. I know people who don’t or do not care and they simply do not waste their time buying things, dressing well or going our of their skins to make themselves look better. Its human nature, we want others to notice us (some put in more effort into it than others) Influence is a questionable matter, the best sales people in the world are male (not to say that females are not as good (i’ve seen some pretty amazing ladies out there selling like no tommorow) None the less this is not an argument to be won, but i am 100% certain that everyone that uses phermones on this site want to get some kind of social stimulus resonse from people around them (otherwise there is no point to use them). It like buying a ferari (for yourself) Why? To feel better about yourself? Better compared to who. None the less its this is not much of an arugment, but revealing your secrets to people is a poor practice.

I’m gonna have to disagree with you. If everything you do regarding your outward appearance and the toys you buy is based on other people, then THAT is a mental condition. It’s called approval seeking and it’s a hallmark of weakness and insecurity. Of course I want women to notice me, but I don’t feel the need…the way I dress is based on how I feel about myself, the way you present yourself on the outside is a reflection of how you feel on the inside. You think those mousy barely noticeable girls that call every hottie they see a slut don’t want attention from men? They do, and they could easily hit a salon and do what the hot girls do to get that attention, but they don’t and the reason is they subconsciously feel unworthy of looking good. So they hate on the hotties that treat themselves like prized goods.

Have you been to a club? You ever notice how many women dress to the 9’s and yet hang and dance with their girlfriends not even paying any attention to the men around the place? They’re showing off for themselves and each other because dressing nice makes them feel good about themselves.

So far, mostly no.

Apart from the one friend who had told me about the pheros he used some time before.

I was quite sceptical about pheros and humans back then (although I’d studied them with animals and insects for some time) but have since let him know how I have changed my opinions and thanked him. 🙂

Pheromones work in the subconscious. If you make people conscious of them they mask and control there impulses.

I have shared it with some friends who I think can benefit from them though but its not something I go around announcing. I dont announce when I wear my push up bra either. Its no ones business but mine.

I strongly agree with Radman here. Of course as humans we are not solitary animals and we seek the approval and acceptance of other humans but everything we do to improve our outward appearance and the “toys” we buy is not for attention purposes. I dont shop because I want to impress you. I shop because I like the way what I buy makes me look and that in turn makes me feel more confident and comfortable. I shop because I want my outer appearance to reflect my self worth. If I go out wearing some nasty sweatsuit or something I dont feel comfortable or good about myself and its projected in my body language and how I feel.

I dont get my body waxed to gain attention or approval. I like the way smooth skin feels and the way it makes me feel to have it. Again its to please me not you.

I dont drive a mustang to impress anyone. I happen to adore mustangs and the look on your face when I blow your doors off at the light. OK thats sort of attention getting but not because I want to attract anyone LOL It gives me a rush, 😛 Gets my adrenaline flowing. Its more about me then you.

If your doing things strictly to get attention and not because they speak to you and your likes and dislikes that is the mental condition.

While pheromones cause attention I wear them for more then just that purpose. Some of my favorite products are the ones that just cause a general feeling of upliftment for everyone like you get with Ishine or MX215. I like the effect it has on someones mood and outlook. I like the way it makes me feel. Sure I like attention to, I am human but that basic human need for contact and attention does not dictate my likes and dislikes.

This is so true. I love a man who doesn’t think everything is about him LOL

On Manipulation…

To manipulate is to

> [@](#):
>
> 1.
>
> to manage or influence skillfully, esp. in an unfair manner: _to manipulate people’s feelings._
> 2. to handle, manage, or use, esp. with skill, in some process of treatment or performance: _to manipulate a large tractor._
>
> 1. to adapt or change (accounts, figures, etc.) to suit one’s purpose or advantage.

It has negative connotations and I feel is to strong a word for what pheromones do. It implies force and unfairness.

Influence would probably be closer.

> [@](#):
>
> 1.
>
> the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc., of others: _He used family influence to get the contract._
> 2. the action or process of producing effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc., of another or others: _Her mother’s influence made her stay._
>
> 1. a person or thing that exerts influence: _He is an influence for the good._

It implies encouraging feeling and behavior but not force.

Pheromones dont take away a person free will to choose or to react or not react to how they are feeling. Just because TUTH arouses a person dosent mean they will bang you. Pheromones are just tools for opening the door to communication and emotion.

If I offer you a cookie and say Mmmm they are yummy, I am influencing you.

If I offer you a cookie and try to force you to eat it by convincing you it will make you dick grow 2 inches I am manipulating you.

See the difference ??

Pheromones just influence. Push up bras just influence. Everything we do, , say, touch, wear, buy, use …etc etc has a direct influence on everything around it. Its all relative.

If we cease to influence the world around us we cease to exist.
