Chicago Bears +6.5** 10/11**
Indianapolis Colts -6.5** 10/11**
That’s what the bookies are saying. Go Colts!

I hate Indiana, so I can’t support anything that come from it. So much for home team loyalty.
Da Bears!!!
I should put a bet on the Colts though. I have a very strong feeling they will win.
Remember that the bookie’s line is designed to do one thing only: balance the betting on the two sides of the line. So apparently more people are willing to bet on the Colts than the Bears … which is important information if you think the outcome of the game will depend on the “votes” of guys who bet on football games.
Not.
True Mark; but Chicago is a bigger “market” town than Indie. So loads of people are gonna be lumping it on Da Bears out of loyalty/habit; I think it’s a fair line overall.
Matt
Indie 37 Da Bears 13
Predictions anyone?
Matt
I really hate football…but the thing that’s got me the most excited about this game is that PRINCE is playing at halftime. I love him soooo much! :o
I was scheduled to work Sunday morning but swapped with someone who really wanted to be done with work to watch the game.
My original plan was to watch people getting drunk as they watched the game.
But they’ll still be drunk after the game, heh!
It’s on at about 4am here; but with blanket coverage on ESPN from about 9pm of past Super Bowls etc. Already seen about 8 past Super Bowl’s yesterday; about four involving John Elway.
I always find it amazing how quickly a side like the Rams or the Packers can just fall off the radar within 2-3 years of winning it. Or coming darn close.
Matt
Many years the game is mediocre and a letdown, it’s the new advertisements that are the entertainment. The advertising companies go all out to out do each other. (and no, sorry, the ads don’t make me want to rush out and buy
)
Colts 34-24 Bears
2 Bears TDs will be by Thomas Jones or that other guy they have at HB. The other will be an interception return.
For the Colts…I see a TD pass to Wayne, one to Harrison, 1 to Clark, and one rushing TD.
Oh the shame…
I guess the Bears came in with a bang – running the kickoff back for TD – and out with a whimper.
How many times can a team turn over the ball and win? or at least not lose?
w00t w00t. go colts! That kickoff reception for the TD was a bad omen man. Lol the first half of the game felt like a college game…so sloppy its exciting. Good stuff.
Well I was wrong about the score, but I did predict a lot of noobery from Grossman–and he came through. Maybe he should try the arena league?
At one point, I suggested that the equipment managers bring out the big shoes and tricycles … fumble, fumble, fumble … in the first half, the Bears had nine posessions: two TDs, four punts, three fumbles. ![]()
WAY TO GO, COLTS! YOU DID YOURSELVES PROUD!
Well it seems I need to apologize here. My Avatar evidently went off and partied a little too much behind my back.
She’ll be back after I dry her out…
