# At what distance does pheromones work?

Hi, Newbie here.  
Just wondering how close you must be to a person for the [pheromones](https://a314.com/) to work.  
Also, what would you guys recommend for a newbie, as in product wise? I got my order of Chikara, but i joined this forum today and saw that most people didn’t have much success with Chikara so I am worried.  
What products and/or mixes do you guys use that work well?

The amount of success with a product is only relative to the person themselves. Not to sell the idea of using Chikara to you since you already bought it but Chikara was one of the first products that showed me how effective pheromones could be in a social encounter. I’m sure you’ve searched around on this forum but you still have to realize that each and every person has a “personalized” experience with pheromones. What works for you may not work for others and vice versa.

Presuming you bought it from the company that I think you bought it from rather than perhaps ebay you can always get your money back if Chikara doesn’t work. I stand behind that guarantee because I’ve bought used Chikara and SoE bottles before that obviously came from unhappy customers.

I think you’d have a better response going to the introduction section and introing yourself along with that product/mix question.
