The last time I ordered putatives, I got them in the standard scent (which I’m pretty sure was still Neroli) at the time, and I’m not sure how I felt about it. I’m not unwilling to try Neroli again if people tend to think it’s the best. Keep in mind I’m currently a smoker and that I’ll be using these mostly in conjunction with A314 and [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), does anyone have any cover scents to suggest for use in p74 and p83 (I’d be getting others but they’re out of stock) or are either of them tolerable on their own? I’m worried about combining numerous different products. Some scents just mix terribly, for one; and also sometimes too much of one particular “note” in a scent just doesn’t turn out right. For instance, combining Scent of Eros (a non-Androtics product) with A314 doesn’t work too well in my experience, although I love them both on their own. All the core products I’ve used from Androtics have mixed together quite well indeed. What are your favorite cover scents for putatives, specific putatives or in general? Are there some that work quite well on their own? (btw although this is my second post I’ve been lurking these forums for years.) ---

As for combining anything like that with a314 I’m not sure why you would since A314 is very well engineered to operate on its own. Sure sometimes you may want some IS or [Ammo](https://a314.com/product/ammo/) for added effect but I wouldn’t mess with it too much. If you like neroli use neroli. If you like akuto use akuto. Its a self preference thing. ---

Would [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) work well with A314? Does it have a more overt “cologne” type of scent? I’m well aware that it is a matter of preference, but I was wondering what other people thought. Annnd, if anyone had some particular suggestions for someone in my situation, if they happen to have any advice on the matter. ---

A314 already has akuto in it (among many other things), so it would be an acceptable pairing. ---

Thanks for the heads up, John! I’m about to make an order and was wondering if I add the Akuto fragrance customization to [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/), would the Neroli be removed or would the Akuto just get mixed in with the Neroli scent (which really isn’t so bad, I’m just not sure if it’s what I prefer). Thanks again in advance! Not to get off track of my initial question though… Anyone have any particular favorites? I know putatives have been deemed experimental agents, but I was just wondering if anyone had particular propensity towards one scent or another for putatives in general or especially specific putatives. ---

We do not “remove” the [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/), we just make it with Akuto instead of neroli. When you order a custom fragranced product we make a special one-off batch just for your order, so it technically never had Neroli in it. (Thats why we charge the $15 lab fee) ---

Also, my favorite is akuto although neroli goes with everything. ---

I see… I already made my order under the assumption that Androtics wasn’t as amazing at customizing products as it is; and since it’s already shipped, I guess maybe I’ll have try going [Akuto](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/akuto/) all out the _next_ time I order. Thanks John. ---

Thanks John. It’s because unlike most we make everything ourselves in our own facility then ship direct. So we can make a one-off custom.
