How much does the mx 172 cost? Which ammo mx variant is generally in use and what does it cost? Does instant gentlemen have a to-go version? I don’t see it in on the store website. Which scent samples/versions are available that I can ask for? ---

The MX 172 bottle was $55.00 - $60.00 if I remember correctly. Try the A314 first - lower cost - see if that does what you want it to do and then play with the MXes. I would not say there is any MX variant of any particular formula in general use although there are some favorites. MHarris & Co. make the variants, we try them out (usually having fun in the process) and provide feedback. Those of us who use them have tried the basic formula, tried one of the MXes for fun, and decided we liked a particular MX variant based on results. That being said, I would probably run with the regular Ammo first - again lower cost and see what the basic formula does for you, and then play with the MXes. Cost for the MX 169 (Ammo variant) was about the same as for 172. Not sure if they sell [Instant Gentleman](https://a314.com/product/gentleman/) in a To-go size. If you are buying several items - ie spending a little $$ - maybe ask Jasmin about it. The Instant Gentleman is one of their tried and true formulas and they do have a money back guarantee - but we do ask you don’t abuse it. Jasmin & this company have taken very good care of a lot of us. Nowadays there are several scent versions available. And you can actually get several of the basic formulas now in any of their scent packages for only $5.00 extra. Pretty good deal really considering you are making a designer package. Neroli - light orange scent. I discussed the advantages - light scent great for work environment - like rounds, rotations, clinics - where a strong cologne scent is inappropriate/“unprofessional” - & negative comments - some think the scent is like over-ripe fruit - of this scent in an earlier entry this post. I work in an environment where a strong cologne is considered very inapppropriate. I have never had a comment with the neroli as it can be taken for a soap/hand lotion type scent. And trust me - strong comments would be made if I smelled of a strong cologne. Ammo scent - a good general cologne scent - really pretty popular with the ladies overall based on posts. Again I discussed this earlier - it is probably too heavy a scent for rotations, rounds, clinics. Hence the beauty of the Neroli. Akuto - never tried it so I can’t describe it to you but you can find posts that will. A lot of people like it. From a quick discussion about colognes with Jasmin and based on her description of the scent, I think I might try it on my next order. By all means try things out, but bear in mind the environment you really want to use each in and the effects you are going for. ---

So with the exception of ammo and mystery boy, the rest: mx105, mx102, IH,IO,p79, p74, p88, p83, instant female magic don’t have any scent or do you mean neroli is the default base? Do I call in my order to have the $5 scent packages added or can it be done through the online store? ---

So except mystery boy and ammo, the other pheros I listed have neroli as the base? Would instant shine increase energy levels during the exam? How long does a spray of instant shine to-go last for? ---

Either neroli or a non-cologne type scent. Hard to describe. But the neroli scent will often cover it. If you get a Ammo MX variant it will have the Ammo scent unless you ask for a custom scent (neroli, Akuto) for the Ammo pheromone package. [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) will make you feel more positive/happy/upbeat but it will not necessarily increase energy levels. Plus you will need to reapply after a few hours. How long a to-go bottle lasts depends on how much you use - ie. how many sprays and how often. But under normal use it will last several days at least. ---

I will sign on to how discreet the light [Neroli](https://a314.com/product-category/scented/androtics-neroli/) scent is at work – I was originally going to purchase only unscented versions of products. (My colleagues are outspoken foodies with cultured “noses” and perfume or cologne of any kind at work is “verboten”.) But the light (2%) Neroli fragrance stays under the radar of people, it seems. Also, Neroli is “highly adaptable” … after a fairly short exposure, most people develop a _specific anosmia_: their nose “fatigues” on that specific scent, and they stop being aware of it, just like certain constant sounds (e.g., the whirring of fans) disappear into “background” and are not noticed unless something unusual happens. I like the Ammo scent a LOT. I like the PheroGame #6 scent as much! And I have some very bad associations with something similar to the Akuto scent, so I can’t recommend it / I avoid it. I find the chocolate and coconut scents fun. ---

Really – your experience is the only reliable guide in some matters pheromonal. On some matters it is the case that no one here can give you a definitive answer, no matter how long their personal experience. So. On my neck, in the winter and spring seasons (cold and damp) in Chicago, with the groups of people I am influencing, in a not-too-smoky and not-too-crowded bar, [Instant Shine](https://a314.com/product/shine/) seems to have a strong effect for about one hour, and milder effects for two or three hours after that. (Very light effects, which I am not particularly _trying_ to notice may last another couple of hours.) On a crowded dance floor, when I’ve been dancing and my body temperature is higher, a spray or two of IS will produce a non-specific “cloud vibe”: people around me seem to ride the IS wave, but I doubt they can trace it to me. It’s FUN! A dozen sprays, however, and the source is clear – headturning “wtf?” clear.
