I took a whole handful. They turned out to be M&Ms.

Even worse, they weren’t just M&Ms, they were peanut M&Ms, so five minutes later I’d eaten at least half a pound with no end in sight.

No, it’s actually a LS pen, supposedly with pheromones in the ink. I use it to sign contacts and promotion docs.

Have you seen that there’s a whole section here in the forum on the Pheromone Theories? And one with scientific studies and abstracts?

Also…your comment about phero’s being products of testosterone… Yes, some are…but have you given any thought to how testosterone is synthesized in the body, and what precursors it has? That’s where the vitamins come in 😉

Plenty of woman wear A1 for self effects. No males present.

This would be different, as they are aware of what they are wearing, and possibly experiencing a placebo effect. Also, this is beside the point, as the point of the test was not to prove that A1 has a mood effect, but more to show that when women don’t know they are being exposed to it, their reactions are dependent on the gender of the people they are around.

Actually, vitamin intake has very little to do with testosterone levels. It is mostly a genetic makeup thing - the amount produced in the testes and adrenal glands are pretty much fixed.

There are a few things that can affect it. Resistance training can increase testosterone levels, as can REM sleep. Aging lowers it. However, testosterone levels have pretty much nothing to do with vitamin intake.

Just sayin’

Hmm…I have sleep apnea, so my amount of REM is greatly diminished. Plus, I’m about to turn 34. I wonder if I have a low testosterone level, and that’s why my wife reacted so quickly and strongly to my OD on TUTH. She wasn’t used to that level of -none from me and it confused her senses.

That would definitely add up. Men over thirty start to have naturally decreasing levels of testosterone. If you don’t regularly do resistance training, i.e. weight lifting, yours would now be starting to drop.

Lack of REM sleep causes a very significant drop in testosterone levels.

Those together mean you likely have low testosterone, and therefore a naturally low -none signature.

To the people who are used to your low -none, it’s hardly surprising that there was an adverse reaction when you suddenly increased your levels by what is most likely a huge amount.

EDIT Add: This is just a suggestion, but you might not do yourself any harm by wearing a tiny bit of TUTH on a daily basis. You might want to consult with some of the masters on here. I’ve been putting on about 1/3 spray TUTH every day for just that little extra something. If you’ve got low -none to begin with, you’d most likely end up back at around normal levels, instead of increasing above that. That couldn’t hurt anything.

That’s a thought, but I’ve been wondering…how does anyone get an “accurate” half or third spray? I could understand if it was a trigger spray system, but I’m not sure I’m accurate enough to guess at 1/3 spray…

Maybe a spray, skip a day without exfoliating it off (regular shower), rinse, repeat…

I’ve been spraying it onto a tissue and dabbing. So I am definitely estimating when I say 1/3 spray.

You could also get your hands on some A314 and use one drop daily, I think that would be about the same thing, taking into consideration how buffered it is.

I’ve definitely been wanting some A314, just can’t afford it right now.

That’s a good point.

I think your showering idea is a good one. I’d try that!
