I’ve recently met a girl who I think is absolutely awesome. The only problem is that her [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) either aren’t the right type or aren’t strong enough to turn me on. As a result, I’m constantly in danger of cheating on her when I come across people with stronger pheromones than her.

(I know, I know, not a good excuse, but seriously… I’ve been a slave to my sense of smell for as long as I remember… it took me 12 years to get over one woman I dated, and that was only when I met someone with similar pheromones, but stronger. Think of it as kind of a lock and key deal - only someone with that signature will make me fall heavy and hard in love with them).

Out of the people I’ve dated in the past, if I put them on a scale from 0-10, it’d go something like this:

Girl A - dated on and off for 5 years, took 12 years to get over - 8.0
Girl B - dated on and off for 3 years - unknown
Girl C - dated for 9 months - 6.0
Girl D\* - together for 6 years, married for 2 - 2.0
Girl E\*\* - together for 4 months - 10.0\*\*
Girl F - couple of dates - 7.0
Girl G - dating for 2 months now - 3.0

- Girl D (my ex-wife) was an experiment - I deliberately went against type, trying to find someone I’d be happy with who didn’t set off my internal sense of “WOW!”. I was never happy though - I just didn’t know how to get out of the relationship cleanly.

\*\* Unfortunately, my realtionship with Girl E (a totally enticing woman), both of us deeply loving the other, fell to pieces repeatedly because she feels she can’t trust me, and she has a lot of bad experiences with guys like that in her past. Apparently _my_ pheromones trigger something in her that excites her, but makes her feel that she can’t trust me (probably the past experience).

So Girl G - a fantastic person, who in a very rational and intellectual way is the perfect match for me (smart, funny, educated, stable, outgoing, slight kinky streak, spontaneous, very talented, amazing lover) - unfortunately doesn’t have the chemistry needed for me to fall for her. I care for her a hell of a lot, but I’m still hooked on girl E (if I’d never met E, I’d probably still be stuck on girl A).

I really want to be with Girl G, and I’m willing to try anything I can to make it work. It seems that the girls I get hooked on are natural redheads, with straight red hair, not many freckles (not sure if that narrows it down much).

My question is this: is there any specific pheromone mix that I can get a hold of which will mimic the pheromone signature of A and E, so that I can get the same pheromonal connection with G that I did with the others?

I feel a little like I’m gaming the system here a bit, but frankly, I think it’s worth doing. I’d much rather pick someone to be with using my head rather than my heart, but unless the pheromones are there, I just don’t form that bond. My only other option is to find another girl with a similar mix who I can be with - but they’re really really ultra hard to come by. (And frankly, which girl is going to let you sniff her hair on your first date?)

Any advice?

Thanks,
Si

ps. Yeah, I know, this sounds a bit weird, but I am pretty sensitive to pheromones. I react differently to certain signatures, but I can smell them all pretty accurately. A party trick I’ve picked up along the way is being able to tell a woman when they’re going to get their next period - accurate to about +/- a day by sniffing their scalp (the scent gets stronger and muskier, and then changes nature, then dies off after… with practice, you can get pretty good at this). Or, alternatively, if they’re pregnant (the scent turns sweet, or goes away completely, depending on the woman. From limited data, it appears that going sweet is the norm, and going away is different).

Odd, but true 🙂

pps. I wonder how many guys cheat on girls because the girl they’re with doesn’t match the pheromones they’re keyed on, but the girls they end up cheating on her with do???

Question: suppose you find the ideal feminine pheromone mix … what are you going to do with it? Ask her to wear it, apply it to her secretly, or just sniff it on your own?

My immediate response to this question is that you’re playing Pygmalion here. It’s one thing to try to enhance one’s own attractiveness - quite another to try to make over someone else to suit you, especially on a level this intimate.

It’s interesting that as attuned to pheromones as you are, you keep ending up in relationships with women who don’t ring your pheromonal chimes. If a guy smells wrong to me, there’s just no way.

life is more than your pheromone signiture.
no one would ever stay to together if it was simply a matter of finding the right scent since we change occasionally, and there would always be someone that smells better on a given day on the occasion that you put yourself in the position to even be that close to another female to begin with.
alot of factors here, and its sounding alot like too much emphasis is placed on this than on the total person.
i find it interesting that someone it took you 12 years to get over only got rated an 8 as well.
using pheromones to uplift/support/enhance is very do-able.
using pheromones because your not that attracted? your better off with voodoo.
why not fall in love with the qualities of a person whom smells real good, rather than finding a smell thats tolerable and hoping you can fix it?
guarenteed it will take longer.
i assume its worth it.

I agree with Lor…there is more to life than your pheromone signature…and, you are placing WAY too much emphasis on this one factor…

And, I think you may need therapy…you say you REALLY want to be with this woman, she is awesome, she is the perfect match for you, etc, but you can’t fall in love with her because she doesn’t have the right pheromones? Synthetic pheromonal mixes are to ENHANCE relationships, not be a make-or-break situation. Pheromone mixes can also help people gain the initial interest of a person…some of us here have used them for that…but, once you get together, there must be more between you than just pheromones…🙄

What if you found a mix that really struck your fancy, had her wear it, married her, and then the company stopped making it? Would you fall out of love with her again?😮 Tell her, “Baby, I love you, but not unless you are wearing the pheromones”?

Also, I have a BIG problem with the fact that you state that you are in danger of cheating on her, simply because of pheromones…you are not simply stating that you feel an attraction to other women, but that you are in **danger of cheating** with them. You are a grown man. Do you not have impulse control? Or is it just a problem with your zipper?

I also agree wholeheartedly with what Carrie has said.

I don’t think spectecjr is wrong to pay attention to whether a woman he’s dating and really likes smells right to him … on the contrary, I think (and I speak from experience!) it’s very, very important, even crucial to your longterm sexual compatibility. I just don’t think you should look to synthetics to make a “wrong” relationship “right.”

If I really, really like someone, everything about them turns me on, except how they smell (hair, skin, breath) … I call them a friend, not a lover.

Yeah, I can relate to what you’re saying…but, maybe I misunderstood what he was saying…he said that this girl that he is with is an amazing lover…that to me sounds like he is happy with their sexual compatibility…

I do WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree that you can’t use synthetics to make a wrong relationship right, though…😉

What are you doing…😕
I’d suggest you research your way to a [pheromone](https://pheromonelabs.com/shop/) combo that makes YOU feel great and wonderful, and please … do yourself (and the G-girl) the favor of letting her go. Are you really setting the both of you up for a win here?
Be honest! Serves you in the longer run of things.

Love,
Chris.

Loved this thread and had to bring it forward!

BTW, notice some of the differences between the sexes for how important we feel that Sexual Chemistry is for the success of a relationship. Just an innnnnnteresting item to ponder!

I just found this thread too!

I think I would have chosen girl E myself but not on the basis of smell …
There are other qualities besides pheromones..
