I am new to the [Pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) community and I am looking to learn more about the science of them. I actually decided to do some research about Pheromones after reading in a psychology book about a test that was conducted when Pheromones were put into some men’s aftershave and not others.

I was just wondering if there were any books out there that you guys would recommend about pheromones or something that includes pheromones as a main part of the writing.

Thank you

Most of us read…

The Scent of Eros by James V Kohl who is a scientist and also a member here on the forum. He has his own product as well.

Most other reliable scientific information comes from text books. Go to google books and type in pheromones and some books will pop up.

Here\>\>\>\> [pheromones - Google Search](http://www.google.com/search?tbs=bks%3A1&tbo=1&q=pheromones&btnG=Search+Books)

Keep in mind some of the info you will read is outdated. [Pheromone technology](https://pheromonelabs.com/) is a growing science and new developments come up all the time.

You can check sources like PUB MED online for more info as well.

I will add that I’ve published book reviews on Tristram Wyatt’s book and Richard L. Doty’s, as well as on Chandler Burr’s representation of work by Luca Turin on odorants. The more reviews you find, the better able you will be to choose what you read. I tend to look for reviews by authorities and authors in the field, rather than opinion pieces from who knows who.

I followed tisha’s link to find

_Pheromones: Dehydroepiandrosterone, Pheromone, Major Urinary Proteins, Vomeronasal Organ, Honey Bee Pheromones, Androstenone, Oleic Acid by [Books LLC](http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?store=book&ATH=Books+LLC) (Editor)_\*\*

It was published earlier this year. I would be happy to learn more about it, if anyone here has read it.
