Pheromones sparked an interest in biology and recently I’ve been reading around places on the internet trying to learn about as much as I can about hormones. Just knowledge for the sake of knowledge. I’m just really curious about the world and right now I want to learn what I can about hormones.

Information on the internet is a bit scattered. I’d sooner have it all neat and tidily presented to me in a book, so I did some searching on Amazon to see if there are any books, but it seems all I keep coming across are books with titles like ‘how to balance your hormones’ or really heavy scientific literature. I’m looking for something more pop science. Something which isn’t dumbed down, but at the same time presented for a general audience. Does anyone know of any good books about the basics of hormones?

Of course JVKohls book is a must read.

There really is very few books on hormones and [pheromones](https://a314.com/) that simply just address that one subject.

You can check out these. Most of them have previews so you can read a good portion of them free on google and see if they interest you before buying them. These are just some that I have but if you do a search just on the google book site you may find others that interest you more. On the left they list where you can buy them. Sometimes the preview is sufficient enough that you dont need to though. I only buy the ones I really like.

wow, thanks a lot Tisha. That’s is exactly what I was looking for. Just had a quick read of the Biotechnology one. It hurts my head, but in a good way.
