Although after reading through blog after blog on here, I’m beginning to think the phrase should have been than meets the nose 😉 I apologise in advance for my dorky corniness, but here goes nothing! I am on the contraceptive pill, and in the past I have found it to have a detrimental effect on my relationship with my boyfriend at times. So when hunting for something to help with the situation I stumbled across you fine people and found out there’s a possible solution & EVEN MORE! I got so excited reading through posts on here that I just couldn’t wait for any gift certificate, and impulsively jumped on to buy some right away! **11/OCT/12** - _Thursday_ Ahh! It hasn’t even been a week yet but I’m already addicted to this site and getting antsy that they’re not here yet! It’s my 11 Months with my boyfriend today, hopefully by our 12 Months I will happily be mone-ing-it-up. I will update when they arrive (and probably throw some on right away!!) Can’t wait!! xLMx ---

**18/OCT/12** - _Thursday_ It’s been the longest week ever, now feels even longer that I know my pheromones are at the post office and I have a few hours left of work to go before I can go pick them up!! Ahh!!! 😃 I can’t wait! I will get to write a proper post soon! THE BEST PART? I am going out clubbing tomorrow night so I’ll really get to test it out in full swing. Also, after a long heated talk with my boyfriend I am no longer going to go on the pill, so I will get to really (hopefully) see the benefits of 'mones in action. Only an hour and 15 minutes to go! **When? 18/OCT/2012 - Thursday** **“It arrived, could not resist trying it!”** **What?** _ **Phermone used:** _ [Instant Sexiness B](https://phera.com/product/kitten/) _ **Scent:** _ I will double check this! (most people probably know from To-Go) _ **Strength:** _ To-Go _ **Application amount & locations:** _ 1 x Spray on left wrist (maybe a tiny bit extra being a brand new bottle and having no idea what to expect, I wasn’t sure if it came out at all). Will definitely be trying more next time. **Where?** _ **Location/s:** _ Started at home, went to dinner then to see Paranormal Activity at the movies. Left Paranormal early and came home to watch The Thing. _ **Environment:** _ Normal slightly hotter than average Australian weather, but cool enough to wear jeans. Air-conditioned in the shopping centre/cinema. **Who?** **Time exposure:** Was only out for about 2 hours, at home for roughly another 2. _ **Self-effects:** _ Other than desperately wanting to feel something after spending so much money, possibly just placebo awesomeness? But, I have to say, although I’ve heard a lot of girls dislike the smell, I personally really liked it. _ **Hits/other people’s reactions:** _ Eh, didn’t seem to make a difference, I’m chalking it up to not finding my sweet spot. _ **Duration of effects:** _ No idea, as I feel there were none. _ **Effects of mixing with other products:** _ N/A _ **Range:** _ N/A **Why?** So I’ll admit, I’m a little disappointed by the evenings proceedings as far as pheromones go. Like I said, I am going to chalk it up to not finding my sweet spot, or perhaps my wrists aren’t the place for me. It’s very hard to tell if it had any effect on my boyfriend due to the fact that for the whole afternoon we’d been having a really good time flirting and joking anyway. I was trying to be extra cute afterwards I guess, but it didn’t seem to change or effect his demeanor at all or at least, not that I could tell. While we were in the car I asked if he thought I looked sexier than usual, he accidentally said yes but then took it back, which I got super excited over, but when I poked and proded for why, he just said it was because I was wearing a light coloured shirt and that he liked lighter colours on me. Again, I’ll admit my inexperience with these things made me act super weird, for one I was worried if I rubbed my wrist on anything it would rub the 'mones off. Has anyone else gone through this trauma? I was also going very over the top, moving my wrist around like a crazy person (probably exaggerating, but because I was so aware of it, it felt like I was haha) I kept touching his face, or looking for excuses to put it near him. Does it still work if you’re far away? I would seriously put my hands on his face when we kissed and other really dorky things. At one point we were looking at perfume on a shelf and he sprayed my right hand with it (oh man, if I thought worrying about it rubbing off my hand was an issue, the idea of it accidentally being covered up by something made me even more crazy). After smelling it and telling me how bad it smelt, I straight out asked him to smell my wrist, but he said he couldn’t smell anything after the bad perfume he’d practically inhaled. We only stayed for about 20 - 30 minutes of the movie because it was riddled with very aggressive noisy teenagers, who were running around the cinema, harrassing other patrons and just being very loud. To top it off when I picked up my cup of water the lid popped off and I wore the whole thing down the side of my leg. So probably super un-sexy that it looked like I’d peed my pants… At this point my boyfriend was so fed up and grumpy from the other people in the cinema that he was very impatient. Which was a shame, because I would have sworn they were working while we were at dinner, but more likely just the afternoon feel-good-ness just still buzzing around us unfortunately. About 10 minutes into The Thing when we got home and I fell asleep anyway ☹ As far as strangers are concerned though didn’t even see a tiny head turn in my direction with it. So there’s a good chance it was just a dudd experiment, sorry to disappoint. However, definitely not beaten or broken! Going to put some Instant Sexiness on before I go to the shops today with TWO sprays to the back of my neck. Anyone reading this - do you know if it’s a bad idea to change application locations only after the first try? **Questions?** 1. Were you worried about accidentally rubbing the 'mones off your skin when you first started applying it? 2. Are the 'mones still effective from a distance? I think this one has been covered around the place, but I more mean is the range different for different people as well? 3. Is it a bad idea to change the application locations only after the first try? What do you think is the best location for Instant Sexiness B? (Which location works for you?) One spray is really not very much at all and honestly you should have phero-baptised yourself. Every one of your after questions can be answered in the same thread so I highly recommend checking it out. Hey LM, Welcome to the forum & thanks for starting your Journal. I am relatively new to mones as well & I can absolutely understand your excitement & plethora of questions you would be asking yourself about mones. As Steve pointed out, you will find most of your answers in his link. For further information, here is another great resource [Pheromones FAQs](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/pheromone-f-a-qs/11517) I had recently ordered the Newbie Kit & in my excitement I finished off lot of the stuff. This stuff really works & you just need to be patient to see the changes. They will be subtle most times, specially around people who have known you for long. Good Luck. Thank you both so much for responding. I’ll admit, I was beginning to feel like a giant douche for spending lots of money on them and feeling like they don’t work. ☹ I will have a big read through both of those. I think I skim read through Steve’s Introduction when I first joined, but when you’re all excited and buzzed up you totally overlook things 😛 so I will read it properly this time.
