Well I should be getting my order tomorrow (2nd attempt as the first one got lost but Jasmin took care of it 😃).

Until then, I was wondering if there were any known [pheromones](https://a314.com/shop/) that whould actually “counter” the PMS effect. I’m saying that, it could be stress/agressivity in general but since there is a strong hormonal component involved here, I thought there might be a specific kind of phero to look for. She decided to go on a diet and normally has very strong mood swings prior to her menstruation. You can guess that right now she’s almost dangerous 😉

Any experiences or scientific facts around that ?

Thanks a lot

Androstadienone (the main component of IFM) is known to be good for PMS. I’ve also found MX138 and MX140 helpful.

There have been studies about the effects of androstadienone on women’s mood and pain perception. I’ll try to locate this info for you later unless someone beats me to it.

Yes, most definitely [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/), but be certain to buy the formula made specifically for women, as found in the women’s section of the store. Two sprays does it for me. The Liquid Sunshine mixes are awesome, as Carrie suggested. Or even Instant Shine for an extra lift.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that this is what I use during _that time of the month_, and it works well for me. Two sprays of [Instant Female Magic](https://a314.com/product/instant-female-magic/) is the sweet spot for me. Three sprays is just one spray too much. Jasmin has a link to an article somewhere, I think it actually may be on the product page in the store for this item, which describes how a medical group has been testing Androstadienone as a PMS treatment. I’ll post it if I can find it.

And definitely send her a copy of this article that I posted yesterday. At the very least, it will make her smile. And you know what they say, “Laughter is the best medicine.” 🙂[https://pheromonetalk.com/t/a-little-humor-for-the-girls-this-morning/2601](https://pheromonetalk.com/t/a-little-humor-for-the-girls-this-morning/2601)

Thanks a lot to both of you, greatly appreciated 🙂

I’ve got a togo IFM in my order but it was the one from the men section. Would it still have a positive effect if I wear it around her ? I doubt she’ll let me spray her with anything right now hehe. I’ll certainly have a look at that article.

Yes, IFM/m on you will be a good thing to wear around her. What else do you have? Many of the lighter social [pheromone products](https://a314.com/shop/) like IO would be good in addition.

I’ve got the following :

Ammo
Shine
To go IFM
To go Turn up the heath x2
To go [Instant Honesty](https://a314.com/product/instant-honesty/)
and some random samples I have yet to know of 🙂

Next order, if this one yeilds at least a tiny bit of success, would be A314 and either Liquid Sunshine or Spaceland.. or…

[Androstadienone](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/molecule-a/) may help. I have read where it has helped others plus Futurist’s product site links to articles stating Johnston & Johnston are working with a company doing research/possible product. And if a company as large as Johnston & Johnston are taking a look … The jury is still out on the home front here so to speak. As many users (Gegogi, etc.) have said, human behavior is a lot more complex than picking up a scent and going into a zombie trance doing whatever. Especially when it comes to PMS.

Androstenone…LOT and LOTS of androstenone… hahahahaha. Wooo, that would be a bad idea. That could get you castrated.

enough joking…

Listen to the lovely ladies. They have it down. Watch out for the effects of IFM on yourself. If it starts to bring you down very quick and very forcefully, wash it off. It can make some men severly depressed. Most of the time it has no negative effects, or it could be mellowing.

I used 2 sprays and within 5 minutes my mood was so low I couldn’t hold my head up. This is not normal by any means, and I’m prone to depression so this may also be a factor.

I wish I could wear it.

bosshank : No worries, I completely understand that human nature is hell of a lot more complexe than a simple scent issue 😉 but if pheros can in anyway help just a little bit than I’m happy.

toilofday: Thanks for the tip lol ! I’m not into getting my balls chopped off hehe.

I’ll be very careful with IFM as I can’t say for sure if I’m not prone to depression. Small dose and I’ll report. Thanks again !

No prob.

I doubt you will have a bad reaction, and if you do, Not At All close to mine. If for some reason you would have such a strong reaction and you can’t shake it, load up on spaceland and shine. A 2-3 sprays of shine to the face, 2-3 more sprays of shine to the wrists/arms/wherever, and 3-10 sprays spaceland to your chest. You might be extremely looped/out of it/maybe dizzy (I think using that much is fun. I spray on 5 sprays of shine and 10 of spaceland on a regular basis, but then again i’ve been called crazy for doing such.)

Has anyone found any of the putatives to help with PMS symptoms?

Also I think Estratetraenol seems to be quite soothing and may help - what do the ladies think?

PMS Pheros:

- [P74](https://pheromonelabs.com/product/p74/) (for me. Warm, social, hang-outty)
- TAA
- A1
- Estratetraenol (though I’m phasing that out since I like P74 a little more. Less “womb” like, more on the feet)

There’s actually a mess of putatives I suspect are great for female feelings, but I haven’t tested them out enough yet.
